I had to stop and think a sec what far side was... I have a far side calendar on the counter at the pizzeria.

A local 2GN member who doesn't post often might attend. I gave him printed directions yesterday. Here is an old thread about his SRT:

He will probably be driving his 1GN if he does make the drive.

DJ you can't be in the "Drive my Neon 'til it dies" club if you don't drive it until it dies...

Mike do you think dry ice would keep your pizza cold enough to make it 4 or 5 hours? If so I'm gonna want an extra to share at home. Assuming dry ice is something easily obtainable in the first place.

You're gonna have more trouble getting dry ice in the first place but it may work. I think your best bet is a few of those "waterless" gel packs and a good cooler. On the other hand we could bake you a pizza, above It in a box, let it cool to room temp, put it in your car, and go! Who refrigerates pizza anyway?

If you're planning to eat the pizza right after your drive, dry ice is not a good idea. I use dry ice on my job and it freezes things rock solid within minutes. A good cooler with a reusable blue ice block is what you need.

As long as it's already baked, it will be good for the trip. with minimal cooling.

Un baked is another matter. Would need a good ice pack/cooler. The cooler would need to be large enough to lay it flat also. Otherwise it could get ugly.

A bag of ice spread out under it would work, as long as the cooler is a good one, and/or Mike makes it in advance and freezes it so it will be already cold. The ice would last a bit longer.

Not sure re freezing would be a good idea, it would need to be baked/eaten once you reach your destination.

FWIW, there is a place local to me that pre makes them, and ships them in dry ice via UPS all over the States.

Ah okay. It might not taste as good if it's been cooked then left out then heated again. haha I probably won't bother.
