Hey Gramps, not one to try and spend your money or add more work. While you have the console out to install the booger bushings, that would be a perfect time to add a short throw shifter. Just throwing that out there.

I've had the Mopar STS for some time now but thanks for the suggestion. Maybe someday I'll bite the bullet and accept Maddog's offer to build a custom one for me.

You won't ever be sorry, if you take up his offer. :D

^^I have no doubt about that. I'm still in awe that he made that offer to me. :notworthy:

Since we are discussing me here, I am so glad that you didn't say "special ed teacher."

Got the car washed, packing at the moment and will be leaving in the a.m. I will have no internet access so I'll see everyone on Saturday!

Totally unacceptable! You missed seeing me get my hands greasy.

Thanks to everyone for helping me. Hudson_Neon, NickKo and rtsrt4, y'all have the patience of a saint. Jake, you were the perfect host (as usual). I forgot to stick my head inside the house before I left to say goodbye to the young lady- please give her my apologies for being such a clod. Oh, please thank her for the Sloppy Joes- they were great!

I'll try to post the few pics that I took on Monday.

Jake, thanks again for having us over. Gramps, glad to see you made it home and it was a pleasure helping you out. See you at Carlisle. My trip home was uneventful except for playing with (or annoying) a brand new Viper.
