Car got washed, vacuumed out and gassed up today. I'll have a few nights this week after work to get the interior finished up and then I'll be ready to hit the road Friday.

Had a fun time, as always. Good people, good eats, good conversation! Thanks to Jake again for hosting!
Got the hood on Collective83's car, thanks to Nick and David's help. Gonna have a bodyshop check the sheetmetal framework up front to see if something can be done about alignment. Slotted the latch to allow the hood to close normally, and fabricated some brackets from 1/8" aluminum to better secure the front bumper up top. Can't see any of that once the hood is closed.

Your taking my suggestion seriously about cutting a new hole in the fender mount to help align the hood enough for your drive home is probably the best compliment anyone has ever given me. Thanks so much!
