Olympic Peninsula Meet

With all this talk about meets in central WA, well east of Puget Sound, I get depressed.

I live Port Angeles, do a quick google search, which means I'm 2 1/2 hours from Seattle. Would anyone be willing to have a meet out on my end? I know it's a long drive for everyone else, but if it was in town here, I could provide lunch for everyone, no problem. Plus, we have the Olympic National Park, which is totally worth seeing if you've never been here before.

It's just an idea now, post up if you have any interest!

I'd be down. There's some good roads out there, aren't there? My inlaws are in Port Orchard so I could kill two birds with one stone =)

What if we did a Victoria trip? The ferry goes from Port A out there, right?

Right. The Coho runs from here to victoria. But I dunno. I think there is quite enough here. Plus its cheaper than the ferry. There are lots of great roads in the park and its beautiful if you have never been here.

it would be hella fun, but this weekend is probably the last trip ill be taking till next summer. harvest starts in a few weeks.... 7 days a week FTL... OT pay FTW.

Yeah, it'll be a while before I'll have time to head out that way for a day trip. I'll definitely keep that in mind though.

The FYC is fairly lazy. Unless it was a nice sunny day with nothing going on and they made it a drive. The north end guys always complain when people want to meet in Tacoma and some of the southend guys complain that the meets are always Southcenter or north.

I'd be game for a drive day/meet some sunny day. It'd have to be at the end of April, like the 25th or something.

Well I know the area well enough to map out a drive or something when it's sunny. I'm sure people could come. Even if it's just a handful.

There are too many Port blahblahs to keep track of! Depending on the date, el fiancee-o and I would probably be game to take an adventure out to the peninsula. Summer is comin up in a few months...woot!

my attendance depends on funds, buying a house this month, a car next month, mama hasnt found work, and im gonna be off for a while

Well obviously it would happen when it's warmer. Like late spring/early summer.
