Neons 2k12, Ed Peters tech session

Didn't see anything posted on here so I'll post it up. The big Neon meet is in Denver this year. June 21-24.

Ed Peters, myself, and several other people will be putting on a tech session for the T-350 transmissions, and also the T-850 if there is enough interest.

We will have piles of broken parts, including differentials, bearings, shift forks, an OBX diff, and other parts. Will also have brand new parts to show the differences in the 1st gen and 2nd gen stuff, and everything else.

Also will show disassembly, inspection, and re-assembly of a 3.55 trans, converting it to a 3.94.

Come on out for the fun! :rockon:

Oh, there will be no video cameras allowed per Ed. So if you want to see it, you better come!

I may not be able to come all of the days, when will Ed be there? I've talked to him several times over the phone and I'd love to meet him.

Saturday June 23rd is the tech talk. He's a great guy to meet. Luckily he lives less than an hour from my grandpa so I've been out to his ranch.

Next time we won't show up in my grandpa's "jap shit" Subaru. He almost made him park it in the road! :rofl:

His driveway isn't that long, he was gonna make us park outside the gate. :laughing3:

But he did eventually let it into his shop to load up with parts. :rockon:

No vids, that sucks. I payed for a copy of the last recorded tech session and it did not have all the topics on it. The engine info was useful though, as when I built my 2.0 engine I based everything on his info!
Maybe we can get him to Carlilse :)

That's part of the reason there won't be videos, too much stuff to set up and coordinate.

Doubt he'll put any other tech sessions anywhere else that's a long distance away. He's getting old and is having trouble finding someone to take care of his animals for 4-5 days as it is.

Ok, I'll give you that one lol. I was trying to get a little more specific as to WHERE in Denver. Unless I just want to drive around for 4 days looking for Neons :)
