I am down for a meet I guess, not really into neons anymore but a meet would be cool.

I still have yet to meet ANYONE from the org or 2gn.org.

I was thinking of ordering some of those stickers here in the next month or so.. and those cards are pretty cool.

Hey now why are you guys bashing us Fresno "show" people??? Im curious to know what you guys hear, i never thought anybody who wasnt involved would even know lol.

Anyways about the proposed meet.. We had a pretty big gathering here in Fresno about 2 years ago, we had the SO CAL chapter of neon america as well as some guys from NV, sacramento, and the central coast come down for a huge bbq/campout/drunk-fest and cruise (not in that order!!) to and through Fresno, upwards of 30 cars or so. Here are some pics

anyhow.. it was a great weekend, someone made a kick ass video of the cruise and everything. i definitely think it is worth organizing if enough people wanna do it. I would go.. unless you think i have "issues"

The SRTs in Western Washington meet alot. Have fund raisers and stuff. The last one we went to last year it was SRTs and EVOs, and a few other random cars. I've heard theres a neon club up here somewhere...don't remember where I heard it, or what there name was..

are you talking about the cars in the pictures? most of those pics are of the guys from Neon America.. which is not really show or racing oriented or anything, just for neon owners who want to be part of something. Since then, however, our local club has seperated from Neon America so I dont know if there will ever be a meeting that big again. Even though some of their cars are "not my style", they are good people and i give them props for coming from all over for the meet, good times.

He was just giving orangeblastsxt a hard time because of something he posted in a different thread... Nothing to do with those cars.

Guys. Should I just choose a random day and place for sometime this year so we can actually meet instead of talking about it and never doing anything?

Also, i work as front desk clerk at a nice hotel, i could probably arrange some awesome nightly rate, if we wanted to meet up in cen cal, but thats pretty far for some people.

Id be willing to drive pretty far up state.

i would be down for a meet.. but if i have to drive all the way to the bay area there would have to be some event going on for us to go to (car show, cruise night, etc.). i dont wanna drive 3+ hours and pay for a hotel if we are just gonna sit around and compliment each others cars.

haha yeah dude i got ya, im thinkin we should plan to either go to an event at Invineon in Sanoma (or another track around this area), or maybe do a show and register to rep 2gn or something, haha that'd be sick. 2gn should become a nationwide car club called 'team 2gn' and we'll pwn car shows and races and whatnot and represent for the neon community.

I had an SRT-4 meet at my house in January with 34 cars lining up my street. Maybe I can work out something where we can have them and the 2nd gen forums together...that could be huge, but we'd probably have to rent a fairground or something....and I think 1st gens should be welcome also, because a lot of us had one at one time or another leading us to own the newer ones....I for one had 3.

Im down for anything, just a CA car meet in general is cool, but the point is kinda to meet the guys face to face who u talk to on the forum and shit. im down for the srt guys to come too, sounds good. anyone down for my chatroom idea? i think its the only way to sort this out w/o posting 100 more times each on here. itll take like 10 mins.
