Out in teh Valley where we live....you actually need those foglamps too......the fog here is frickin' insane sometimes.Paralyzer wrote:confused about your projectors with yellow fogs. Not my cup of tea but oh well. Nice cars none the less.
I like you, don't change that by getting a kit.........03sxt wrote:Thanks, man... Hopefully within the next few weeks, I'll actually have real HIDs and they'll look much more authentic.lambostealth wrote:look great 03sxt, nice color....I bet people would expect to see a Lexus on the other side of those.

I appreciate every compliment, thanks a lot man!EclecticBlue wrote:That car is absolutely gorgeous!! Love the hood, the kit and the wheels! Esp. the wheels!

retros are VERY expensive......but well worth it, I think Hak does halogen retros that are very nice for around $500....thats just $200 more than a good "kit".
I've explained exactly why kits are very bad in another thread, so if there is any demeaning things in what I'm about to say, it's not directed to you, I just copied it from SRTforums for some dumbass that just didn't get why HID's are any different in our housings than halogens.....try to read deeply and really understand.
I'll explain it very easily. Go grab your stock bulb, look at the filaments, there is one over the other, when you turn on your lows, the top one lights up, sending a beam of light to the top of the reflector, thus sending light DOWN to the road, the bottom filament blocks light from going to the bottom of the reflector, thus blocking light from going to the bottom of the reflector which is your high beam section. So you flick your MFS to high beams, and both filaments come on, thus using the entire housing.......An HID bulb has no way to block the light from using both the low section, and high section.......so you are sending your high beams and lows down the road......with significantly brighter light. Now do you see why they aren't safe? Imagine that comming at you down the road.......you don't want to blind the soccer mom with her kids in the van, and kill everyone, do you? Can you imagine the lawsuit when they find out you had an ILLEGAL, BANNED, HID kit in your headlight?
Depends on how close he was driving to you, if he was close enough, the glare might not have even hit you. But as Lownslow said, it is very dangerouse as you basically have your highs on all the time, with a much more intense light. If you do get them, and put them in, just have a freind switch cars with you, and drive towards eachother from about 1/2 mile away, you'll see what I mean.03sxt wrote:lambostealth wrote:I like you, don't change that by getting a kit.........

I understand where you're coming from, but why don't other people with kits blind me when they're driving behind me... Like Jason, for example. His didn't seem crazy bright when he was following me in his car at night... Does it depend on the housings or what? I, myself, am not a huge fan of projector retros. Except the Morettes... I like the way those were setup. The plain retros just look strange. They remind me of small fish bowls... I dunno. Maybe some day I'll give in and make a set or have a set made. Depending on the price, of course.

Haha, yea thats the way to go.LowNSlow wrote:My wifes truck has a hid kit in it.. and omfg!... that crap is insanely dangerous. Ive never noticed until I drove infront of her.. its a 6k hid kit... it's insane .. im taking it out asap .. I'll probably put it in my 4 wheeler.. since that really is off road use only
Thanks a lotscneonchic wrote:Im not a huge fan of lambo's...but the rest of the car looks amazing as always, and I love your wheels and light set up

You're welcome. I bought both my headlights and fog light bulbs from them. I had to order a second set of the fog light bulbs because when I bought my first set, one bulb was defective and I had already tried to fix it so I couldn't set it back for a replacement.Silver2gn4me wrote:Cool thanks 03sxt. Ill check that out now!!
