Painted my stockers

Well, i want new rims, but right now it's too much money to spend, especially when saving for college. So, i did this instead:

Bronze, leaving the lip polished. These pics aren't the greatest, i'll probably have some better ones tomorrow in the sun, they look alot better in the sun

YES! Im glad to see the brave bronze people coming out of the woodwork

I want bronze wheels for mine, just no money for it.

Thanks for the comments people, even if ya don't like it it's nice to know what people think. I decided to do bronze becasue i think A. Black and gunmetal are getting overplayed, everyone has those types of rims and B. i think it looks nice on dark colored cars. Oh, and C. it was cheaper then buying new rims

I used Dupli-color wheel paint. All i did was sand the aluminum face, and skuff up the painted parts, sprayed a couple coats of the bronze, and lots of clear coat. We'll see how long it lasts, hopefully quite a while, but thankfully i'm not using them in the winter

looks nice, i did that exact combo on a set of le baron wheels, but the flakes look better on the car than my baron wheels did lol

paint your brakes flat black (and maybe even paint the silver lip gold) and you will be golden (yes, pun intended

). the red/gold/silver/blues is way too busy looking IMO

I think the bronze color looks decent with the blue, but I have to agree with 03blackrt with that there's too many other colors going on. Loose the red, and I think it would look better.
