Well, I was bored...and decided to clean up the new shop car(my wifes' new car...got rid of the caravan) and go take some real pics instead of just that b.s. in the driveway....so here they are...(note: a few of these I probably shouln't have taken in those places....but oh well, I'm on an Air Force base....they were too cool to pass up)

And last but not least...I was bored as hell over this long weekend, so I decided to paint up this little R/C box that I bought the other day.....

There are several mods still going on the box like the Carbon Hood that isn't repaired yet, and the S-Tech's....but it was toooo nice of a day to pass up the photoshoot opportunity.

Comments are more than welcome as always.

Thanks.....I'm actually talking to the company that makes those headlights about making some for our cars.......I'll keep everyone posted.

They are only Halogen projectors....but hell they look better than the regular lights....

You know what....to be honest with you....I really wasn't either....but I thought hey, it'll be better than the caravan, and the aftermarket for them is HUGE...which is good for me since that's what I do...lol

After purchasing it....I can honestly say that I LOVE this little thing, it's not my neon of course, but it definately is unique.

We've had it for about 3 weeks, and gone from bone stock to how you see it in the pics.....hence the 30 day tag still on it...roflol

On the KCSR forums, a dude traded in his 04 SRT-4 for one... same color and rims too... He wanted better gas mileage.

Looks good, I never was a fan of them initially but they have grown on me. I still HATE the interior though.

Maybe it's just me, but I would find it hard to justify doing performance mods on the xB.

Our first stop was Blitz North America for a supercharger kit, which pumps 6 psi and really moves "The Box." Dyno tests showed the kit produces an additional 25 percent of power. Let's just say our boosted 1.5-liter surprised a couple of Civic drivers who thought they'd take us out.

WTF is wrong with that? It was one of the reasons I got rid of my Neon as well.

xB... well... er.... not my cup of tea? I donno, it's not like they are bad cars or anything but they just don't do it for me.

Yeah, I thought they were kinda fugly in the beginning, but I honestly REALLY want one! I dig the boxy look, and the interior is really cool IMO. The rear seating is super roomy, too! Lots of room for mods with those things! A local drives a grass green metallic one, and I really dig that color! I still love my Neon to death though.

a quick glance at modacar.com revealed a greddy turbo kit for $1799, and a supercharger kit for $2995

i know that greddy isnt the best though, just an idea for josh

My point wasn't so much the price, it was the hp gain. An increase of 25% would be incredible....IF you didn't start with 105hp at the crank.

oh I know man......that's just THAT kit though....which isn't very impressive.....

A few of the kits that I am looking at right now put this box at over 230whp.....properly tuned of course....so basically equivalent hp to an SRT......not sure on the weight difference between the box and the SRT.....it'd be fun to finish the box and then run it heads up with my car.....roflol

Strange enough, I've always wanted an xB. I've been obsessed with those for a couple of years now. Before I bought my Neon, I was looking into getting one of those... but sadly I couldn't afford a $17,000 loan at the time.

I'm a huge fan of ugly looking econo-boxes. (I'm a show-over-go kinda person.)
