My new SRT exhaust
Yup....still got the 7 year old Bright White plymouth neon paint. I need to do some major work on the rear bumper though. Thanks for the compliments.scneonchic wrote:do you still have factory paint?

Well man I went to Home Depot and got myself the $30 black & Decker "dremel" tool. With all the attachments it came with it made it super easy to do. I just put the exhaust in there, drew out some lines, put the neon on jack stands and got underneath and cut it out with the sanding pads that came with the dremel on medium speed.
It's a great way to do it, but if you don't have previous experience with a dremel you might want to practice on some wood or something else to get the feel of it before hacing up your bumper. GOod luck man.
my dremel motor burned up when i made taht custom lip from the 04 bumper... right when i got done, it died... i was pissed. but at least i ahd teh project done

You know I actually went though about 3-4 to get this done. I really think I could have gone through less but I messed up and did'nt clean the disc off after a long cut. One thing that really helped is that I wore some heavy duty gloves, and if the melted bumper pieces started to bunch up on the disc, I would just clean it off with my gloves on...made them last alot longer.dblsg wrote:every time i try cutting something with my dremel, i end up going thru like a hundred cutting discs.
