what's the performance difference in that thing, compared to the mopar STS?

about 10% less throw compared to the Mopar Performance one. It isnt the biggest reduction like the Maddog but I didnt want it to short being that its for daily driving. Plus it has shift breaks unlike the MP one.

Hell, i have a 72% redux on mine... and it's a daily driver in the summer.

Wish i would of got the 80% actually.

This one overall is about 38-40% Im not worried that much over it because it isnt the shift that is gonna make me win. I can shift fast enough now.

*shrugs* I just like the firmness of it and the small movement... I'm lazy! :D

Same here, love the 72% kinda wish I had the 80 though, felt the one in TeamLivid's car felt nice. I just need to get boogers.
Find it kinda funny, I have all this suspension work and looking to do a turbo yet I can't seem to fork up the cash and order a set up boogers heh

From what I hear the 80 is just the 72% with the top cut an inch. There is a post about it on SRTforums.

True.. sorta.. its actually cut from the bottom with no bend in the middle of the shaft.

I Love my 80% Maddog Shifter!

What? When I tried it, there was practically no movement at all through the gears and you want even less?

Yeap. You can never have a shifter to stiff. :D

Oh man you guys are nuts! I sat in teamliviD's car and wondered what the hell gear I was in while shifting it! I just couldn't go more than the 50%. I do like the idea of the rod brakes though.

For Dave, I can understand because he autocrosses, but for a daily driver, I could never go that short.

Looks very nice. Can't wait to hear the report back -- once it's in. It appears to be around $165 from Modern or Summit? Claims 30% redux. This with boogers are on my new wish list.....

I only paid 157$ shipped for my Maddog.. I get a 35$ money order when i get off my butt and ship my stock shifter back.

Jegs and Summit are the cheapest to get them. They also come with upgraded cradle bushings. I have driven about 30 miles with it and love it. ALOT better then the MP one. As for Opi's comment, if you dont have power to back it why do you need to shift faster LOL j/p * updated with installed pics.

I never said I like to shift faster, I just like to be lazy and move my hand as little as possible. :D

EZ the wires didnt have to be longer or anything. I just pulled them down and cut the changer holder alittle.
