Well I got the Neon all ready for the winter with some Bridgestone IceCompoundII Studable tires mounted on the stock 14" rims.

The tires are 185/70-14, got em off ebay for 80$shipped brand new.

Thanks CgPeon, Yeah .... it is the nicest thing i've ever owned...

It was owned by some grandma down in Florida and it was garage kept. The interior is perfect, the under body has absolutely no rust, and the engine is running as new. I checked some of the records and i guess for the first 2 years it was hardly driven at all. Since i got it a month or two ago i've put on more then 5K on it. It runs like a champ and its quick as hell. I have to say thou its slow from the get go but once you get up to speed it accelerates like nothing. Its geared mostly for high speed autobahn driving which i love btw.

well I looked around for an RT neon for as long as i could and I couldn't find anything i wanted so i figured time to move on to my dream car and so i go this. Ohh did i mention that i bought it for 8K....

Well they are just mild steel 2.5" painted with some high temp silver on the outside and they pretty much black on the inside.

I guess I could try to do something about that.

Well yes and the only reason for that were my parents. They told me to keep it simply because that price that I was gonna sell it for would never ever buy me another one like mine, and also I've had it since day one and I know how its been driven and how much money I've spent modifying and maintaining it so it was gonna be kinda stupid to sell it just to get rid of it.

I have no payments on the neon and the insurance on it is 22$/month so i'd rather have it around as a spare car in case the expensive one brakes and also next summer once i get out of college i will be doing the sleeper SRT swap.... so keep an eye out for that.

Yeah but for 10$ you cant beat the price so no matter what I am keeping them. I actually like how they look now i used to hate them at first but i guess they grew on me.

As to the bumper mod its there to help suck cold air for the air box.
Right now the factory air box is mounted in the engine compartment and I have a 3" tube that runs to a funnel which mounts to the back side of the bumper. I dont know if it helps or not because the car feels as quick as aways so it probably does but its more of a economy thing than performance i guess. I will take more pix of it.
