Front and Rear Strut Bars installed!

So yesterday I got a package which contained... my first mod that wasn't asthetic! And the start of my suspension mods.
I got these from EmersonHart13 here on the forums, for $50.30 shipped.

Also included was a lot of foamy things.

A LOT of foamy things!

My weapon of choice here is some Metallic Blue paint from walmart, got it for like 5 bucks. The red stuff on the can is blood. Did you guys know you have to be 18 to buy spray paint nowadays? I didn't which resulted me in going 3 miles across fucking walmarts parking lot to get my license.

Not too shabby.

Closeup.

The rear bar was a lot harder to paint because there was no texture in it like the front one. So I sanded it down a little and it finally started to stick.

You may/may not get your dogs to help with the install.
So I then cut the carpet, padding and sound deadener, jacked the car up and put the rear one on.

I don't think I did a *too* bad job of cutting the carpet and stuff. I'll order some eventually to make it look OEMish.

Yes my trunk is white.

Front.
I love them. They make the car feel a lot tighter in turns and it makes it feel like the car is turning in unison rather than the front then the back. And for 50 bucks, can't be beat. The only prob. is the under part of the windsheild washer jets hit the bar a little and the hood has some barely noticable JDM hood tilt to it. I'm just gonna cut the hose and take out the washer fluid bottle.
Whoo!
