so my antenna delete came in today. i love the look of it. although i have acouple ideas on sprucing it up a bit.....

i got it from BRR. but its a pretty cheap part, check your local dealer. its from a no option ACR.

the invoice that BRR sent me, showed a list price of $2.85. so its a really cheap mod. i dont seeany reason why your local dealer cant get one.

i have a couple ideas for sprucing it up, one of them includes color matching, the other im keeping a secret.

the wiring wasnt long enough to run my stock antenna into the cowl like i planned, so i folded the antenna in half and ziptied the whole assembly inside the fender, behind teh fender liner. anyone have soem cheap ideas for somehtign better? or have a way of boosting the antennas use, cuz i lost soem reception....

You can get them for $20 at Circuit City and places like that. Works great and easy to install. Now color match that damn thing

And reception is still bad? Seems like your antenna is getting smaller and smaller, like its receding into the car. Next thing we know, your antenna will be magically pop out of your tailpipe. J/K TNK.

Also, do something about your blowing struts.

its better now thatn with teh zzapp. but its not as good as it was when it was stock. im gonna check out one of those auto loc hidden antennas

I started to suggest a BUX right fender but then you would have the hole for the repeater turn signal so that wouldn't help. What do you do, wash your car every other day? It's always so clean!
