Yeah, those are nice cars. But as stated several times I do not like tucked rims/tires so that part of the car looks bad to me.

It's called opinion, mine doesn't have to match yours. IMO it is ugly. I DO NOT LIKE TUCKED RIM/TIRE. I'm not sure how else I can say it. As stated before I'm not going to change my opinion, that's how I've always felt and that's how I still feel.
And if you want to start getting technical that is a design element of the car. All these other cars your post that are tucking have circular/round wheels wells were as the old cars have an oblong wheel well. Completely different look when compared to a car that was not designed with tucking in mind.

The Poinac(God I slaughtered that) Aztek, at first it was a typo, then I thought "Oh it sounds like Azwreck as in train wreck, like the car. Haha I made a funny" but apparently not.

I agree Dan always has and always will do great work. Just on trucks its not my style. For what I use my truck for it does defeat the ourpose. My trucks is driven up in the mountains on horrible roads to go fishing camping and hiking. So a lowered truck would not do it for me there. Trucks that are just a tad lowereed such as a Dakota Rt or Extremes look nice to me but once you get lower than that its not personally mt style. sorry to hijack your thread Dan.

I figured it was a blanket statement. I personally don't like it period. Whether old, new, stock, or custom. I'm just not a fan.

meh .. i have a friend with a crew cab dually truck ... with body drop and full airbag suspension ... he is still able to haul his 5th wheel trailer with his other truck on it no problem at all ... all he lost in his truck is some room in the bed where the floor was raised up to clear the body drop and airbag setup ...
the only thing i think is ugly is a truck that is all jacked up ... with street tires on it ... or one that is jacked up ... but you can tell no thought was put into the suspension other then to see how high they could get it ...
slammed ftw...

i love you guys
seen a truck with what appeared to be 7 - 8" lift on it. it was beat to hell, and clearly a red-necks truck. I wanted it
4x4 = 5" lift or higher
2x4 = body drop

lifted trucks = FTL
slammed trucks = FTW
I think there is a limit, but just a nice drop slightly tucking looks good to me. Like the drop you are talking about doing, dan, that sounds like it will be a nice, clean drop. Nothing too extreme.
slammed > lifted trucks
everyone has different tastes though...and this thread made me

btw...extreme's arent lowered...they just have a 'body kit'. my boyfriend's 4.3 s10 is way lower than any extreme, and hes not even bagged yet.
