The sub is rated at 500 watts RMS , and the amp is rated at 600x1 watts RMS at 2 Ohms. So its the perfect combination.

yeah i know that, its just that the sub is known to be able to handle double of its rms, without showing stress. I was jsut letting you know.

Thanks my friend. I was thinking of doing the same, as last year i had the set up in the back of the trunk. I get so many people asking about air ride when i go to shows and meets, i thought it would just be nice to open the trunk, and then, BLAM, there it is right in there face.
For example, heres a pic just from yesterday

We had a 60+ car cruise and once i parked the car and slammed it, i had a swarm of honduh flys surrounding it

I see what you are saying. i don't plan on going in any audio comps, so unless i like to bleed from the ears on a regular basis(which i'm 99% sure i don't want), i'll stick with the smaller amp
