I did mine 'semi flat'. 'flat' and glossy looked weird. For mine, anyways.

i masked off the rest of the lip, and then took a scotchbrite to the "recessed" area. i then sprayed it with a trim black (yes it's flat black) which is usually used on chipped flat black exterior parts

yeah, no problem, i hate when people keep that kind of miniscule stuff a secret, so if anybody else has any body work/paint questions feel free to ask or PM me would be easier

Think I could get away with just using my leftover 'flat black' Dupli-Color Wheel Coating Paint from painting my wheels for that area on the rear bumper and the part of the lower front bumper that DCx recommends you blacken out?

Hell yeah you could! I'd do it too, but my trunk is gonna have the black on it and it would be too much black on the ass of my car.

That's frickin AWESOME. I love that color red, as does my wife - she wants me to get my car repainted one day and do it that color (blaze) instead of flame red

Yeah, the color has grown on me A LOT since I've bought the car. I can't believe how much better the car looks with the re-painted wheels and the lip kit.
