Euro Front end on the CADDY or should I say the OPEL...

Well after a long battle with customs and other BS... its finaly here and I just got it installed this weekend.

Parts I am waiting on is the GTO brakes and Rear Wing and the Euro trunk lid with the Omega Logo...

The neon is getting a 2002 front end as soon as I paint it and the 03-05 Lips as well as side skirts.

So far I have the Euro Opel Grill and the Euro Front plate with the US numbers on it.

The rear will get a different piece that sits between the tail lights, New exhaust system, new GTO Front and Rear Brake upgrade and who knows maybe I will get an engine tunning with a chip or something but those people over in germany are kind of hard to deal with especially when they hear american... kinda sux but o well..

Well what do you guys think about it... I think it rocks

At the GM tech center over here there are many cars with that grill logo. I never knew what it was. Ill have to take a pic next time I deliver there

I like every bit of it althou sometimes I have to say I miss my underpowered neon. This thing is almost a dog off the line but once its going it has a ton of punch.... its set up mostly for top end or high speed driving and not so much for accelaration... the most fun I have with it is passing people on the highway by accelarating from 60-100 and then back down to 60... its got a lot guts...

Once I get new tires I will see what this thing can do on a drag or an oval track as far as top end.

So far all the dyno numbers I have seen are between 180 and 190, the 190hp being the 2000 and 2001 and the 1999 sports... those numbers are at the rear wheels.

Well things are still to come with it but honestly now that the neon is home most of the time I actually miss it and I want to go home just to drive it now so... that kinda sux but you cant beat the luxury and room and also power that this thing got compared to the neon so now I think my dad will drive the neon for a while while I buy some more toys for it.

Next upgrade for the Opel would be the Rear GTO wing and GTO Brakes and then possibly a front lip of some sort and I will need new tires and those will cost a somall fortune since the 245 45s 17 are kinda wide and somewhat expensive... I was looking at them and they will run me just over 1/2 grand....
