Took a lot longer then I expected to install the front and rear lip. Unfortunately I was unable to install the side skirts today due to my mounting hardware for it magicly vanishing. That will be done tomorrow. It was pretty hot today.. I got a decent sunburn

Throwing up a few pictures from today. Will update tomorrow with the finished product.

Kinda FINALLY! I'm waiting for better pics and the install of the sides. I want to see what kind of stance my car will look like with those Kazera springs. Love your car man. Is that black vinyl on the rear or is it paint?

Yeah, more pics tomorrow ;)

Black paint, looks freaking awesome. In fact, I think the instructions recommend painting that area black. I got the idea from the picture of the yellow neon on dodgeparts.com that has it done as well.

Did you paint the bottom portion of your front bumper, too, or did you cut the area out? I know the installation instructions recommend 'blacking' out that part, but I haven't really read the instructions for the rear.

How long did it take you to do the front and rear? I'd like to know how much time to set aside to do them... Taking off the front bumper's going to be a bitch, ain't it?

BTW, your car looks mmmuuuccchhh nicer!

Heh, well to be honest, I really didnt glace at the front install instructions to much. It was pretty straight forward. Taking the front bumper off was a mild pain. I've never done it before until today, so I really had no idea what I was doing. My intent is to go back later this week and paint all the front bumper grill black. It took me about 4 hours to do the front and rear, but honesty I screwed up several times so it took longer then expected. I assembled and put the rear bumper on my car and then had to take the whole thing back off when I realized I left the styrofoam crap out. Plus I was doing it outside in the 96 degree heat so I took quite a few breaks.

The sideskirts look pretty straight forward though, they shouldnt take longer then a hour.

Thanks! It is hard to tell from that far, but the front chrome trim is actually painted black chrome. It looks pretty hot and goes with my attempt at a blue/black theme. I intend to paint several of my aftermarket parts in the same color soon.

Thanks everybody for the positive feedback thus far!

Oh, and yeah, that is my step fathers police cruiser ;)

I got it from dodgeparts.com several months ago before they went on clearance. I paid almost 800 shipped for them. It is much cheaper now.

Is that rear part FLAT black? If it is, what did you use for paint?

I believe it is. I am not 100% sure. My future brother in law painted everything for me. He'll be over tomorrow to help with putting on the sideskirts. I'll ask him tomorrow. It came out great.

Are you still comming over this weekend? I have a good idea to get those exhaust tips fitting much better, then we'll get that black-chrome going on......your front bumper black-chrome looks really good ans subtle in those pics.....I think we can lay on another coat or two.

I'll leave it up to Josh weather he wants to keep it a secret (the process, and what in particular we use), or not. If it were mine, I think I would keep it to myself......at least for awhile. LOL.

Josh?????

OB: Are you going to be heading this way if the meet is indeed up here??
