I didn't notice in the first pic. set, because you had the windows rolled down. All I can say is that, and you already know this, Blu looked better with the front windows tinted. Sorry, I know that this is still probably a sore subject, but DAMN. I still would have done the same thing as what you decided too do. It's not worth the hassle of getting ticketed all the time.

How many miles did you have on those tires? Did you ever have them rotated? I know that the tires that were on my baby when I bought her didn't even last 28k miles, and that's with rotating them every 3k.
Too bad you live so very far away.... as I have my snowflake's with some very nice Goodyear Regatta 2's just sitting on a pallet in my garage under raps.

Nice and clean, though!
Someone has been doing some burnouts lately.
Just playin.
Rotating the tires can help with the life of the tire. I recommend a alignment, a nice shakedown of suspension components and checking your tire air pressure weekly. You wouldn't believe all the cars that come into my work and their tires are 10 lbs over or 10 lbs under.

Those were the tires that came with the car when I bought it in 06 shrugs. Nope never rotated them, Actually asked about it a few times when I took it in for service but I was told they were fine shrugs. I always have the air checked everytime I take it in. I think I have about 35k on the car now, give or take a k or two lol. Im going to have it aligned here soon before I get new tires an all. That one tire was the only bad one tho so far...King Crab wrote:How many miles did you have on those tires? Did you ever have them rotated? What is the tire pressure supposed to be? I never know...
I have always kept 32 psi in mine. There's a sticker (plaque) on the inside of the drivers side door, with some very useful information that you should check out. I believe that it will state tire pressure and other cool sh*t.NeonBluSXT wrote:What is the tire pressure supposed to be? I never know...
Some people are idiots at shops! I have never let my tires go more than 3k before I'll have them rotated. Now I just do it myself when I do my oil change. After my warranty expired from the factory, I went ahead and starter to do all my own stuff again. I used to do everything on my cars when I was younger and raising the family to save the $$$$$'s. But as I got older, I hated working on cold garage floors so much that I started taking them into shops. But for some strange reason I don't like anyone too touch my Neon, so I started to turn the wrench again.
Anyways....... I hope this will help out!

Well I got the moldings off today. Wasnt as bad as I thought it would be, just let the car sit in sun for a bit and they came right off. I didnt get the lighting done like I wanted but maybe next time shrugs. I did get a bonus tho, I got the calipers painted which I didnt have planned. I didnt get everything done I wanted but in due time I suppose... Here are some pics.
Dee Dee, I'm so glad that you went ahead and did the door moldings on Blu. Me thinks it looks great. The calipers looks good, although I'm surprised that you didn't paint them blue. Well as far as not getting everything done, that's what tomorrow's are always for. Keep up the great work. Peace.
