Thanks! Yeah, I've been thinking about removing them for about a year and a half, but I'm worried about the paint underneath those... The paint under my wing pedestals is infested with tiny bubbles that look like crap and I'm afraid that might be what's under those. I'll get ballsy enough some day to try it out.

Thanks man! I spent almost a month and a half doing the wheels (partially because of financial issues) but I was trying to make sure I did them right the first time. I think everything turned out perfect! I'm really happy with the outcome of the wheels and the lip kit!

Thanks! That means a lot coming from someone with a Neon like yours! There are a few small imperfections in the wheels, but they're not things you'd see unless you were right up on the wheel.

Awesome pictures. For some reason after you painted your rims, the rims look smaller, or maybe its the lip kit in conjunction..IDK.
Didn't you have rockblocker on your fogs?
I need some emo photography skillz. I have never taken night pictures of any of my cars before hmmmm.

Hmmm... They might look a
weee bit smaller... That's odd.
Nope, no rockblocker. I had a set of smoked rockblocker film somewhere around here, but I lost it when I moved into the new house.

That'd finish the front up nicely.
Night pics just require a nice camera and some playing with the adjustable shutter speed settings and a tripod.

Now you just need some rolling shots, i bet it looks hot moving.
BTW, what does that say on the drivers side rear bumper?

Oooh, yes. I might get some rolling shots tomorrow!
By the way, it's a small decal that says, "Puck Fotholes."

I gotta say, your car looks really sweek with those wheels! Also, I don't think any other spoiler flows as well as the SXT spoiler with the lip kit.

You mounted your rear lip wrong. It's supposed to line up with your side skirts. If you move it up around 1/2" or 3/4" it'd be perfect. It's nice though...

take the side moldings off... if you take them off and its all bubbled up and nasty under it.. you can always put them back on.

Car looks tons better with the lip kit and rims on there. I think it would look even better if you removed the side moldings.
Nice pics BTW.

I agree w/ the side moldings thing. Cant hurt to try, if it looks like its going to be damaged underneath, just get osme 3m tape and put it back on. Id try it, esp before the car gets much older.
Your wheels look great painted like that....I think the reason they look a bit smaller is because of the lip. Alot of times people dont believe mine are 17s, because of the lip they look smaller.
Your car looks great mike!! youve done a really good job on it

Thanks everyone! Yeah, I'm going to give it a shot removing the side mouldings at some point soon. I'm just afraid that if the paint's bubbling, removing adhesive might also loosen the paint more and if the paint comes off my doors, I'm fudged.

I'll just be real careful and slow about it and try to assess the situation as I'm doing it.
Thanks again everyone for the compliments! The car's come a long way since I bought it. Even my dad said yesterday that it looks like a completely different car with the wheels and the lip kit... I definitely agree.

I didn't mount it 'wrong.' See this post:
