nah, thats too much effort.

I have a partial bottle of Quik Detailer left over from the clay bar, and I'm probably going to get another bottle to have on hand.

and believe it or not, the wax I used was just plain Meguires Cleaner Wax. No multi-step system, just plain old wax. It shines good enough for me.

I also used a Black & Decker 6" random orbit polisher/waxer for both the application and removal of wax.

well you should be more than fine if anything when you get to carisle you just have to rinse it off.

Very nice, good depth, nice wetness, great flake pop, all the keys to a great metallic wax job.

The only thing I will recommend is to use something with a bit more durability. The Megs cleaner wax will wash off next time you wash it. But if you use the Megs NXT Tech wax, it is a synthetic, and will last a few washes.

Other than that, I can't think of anything over the counter that will last at all.

But, as I said, that looks GREAT for a cleaner wax! Good job man!!!

Looks showroom-worthy again Frank.

Hopefully the 70 or so mile travel to Carlisle won't ruin the shine by those pesky bugs...

It's really shiny.

Damn right its Black & Decker, I got it $10 off retail at the company store. ;)

I really don't remember if I have waxed it before.

Thanks for the complements everyone. It means a lot that you like it that much Lambo, guess I did an OK job.
