My Awesome Find After Work

So last night i get out of work at 9pm and i walk to the car and start it up to go home. I start to drive off and i am getting this thumping noise coming from one of the tires. So i stop thinking it is a flat, and i look at all four tires and they look great.
Then this mourning I took the tire off the front because i know that my brakes work making a little noise, and i thought a pad could have fallen and was rubbing, but i noticed this.
The asphalt/Tar must have melted on my tire while it was parked. It was around 90 the whole day so i could see it happen.
The tires were 2 months old, but i took it into Discount Tire and they replaced it with no problem.

Glad your tire shop took care of you. I wonder what it would of looked like if you had been here in California. Gonna be over 100 degrees for like the 4th day in a row today.

yea first i was looked at it and i thought the tread just melted but there was no way.
At discount for $40 you get the no hassle replacement plan, and if anything happens to the tires they give you new ones. I was just glad it wasn't some other problem on the car that i would have to get fixed.

Yeah how the heck did that happen anyhow? Its way hot here and ive never ever seen something like that. Fresh asphalt? You sure you werent roastin em a little
too much?

Lol no i just got out of work and when i pulled out thats what i found.
It isnt freshly poured, and i usually park in the same general spot so i have no idea how it happened

Wow. Never seen something like that happen before. Maybe the compound of the new tires were messed up or something. Like WAY too soft.

Thats never happened to you guys? Its happened to me twice! Both times I just kept driving and it all flung off within a week.
