1st night shot of neon at night..

think it turned out cool..the sky is the best part..
- it looks blurry cause it was foggy/humid like crap
- yes i used a tripod
- shutter was set to 3Seconds open
- no flash

What was your F stop at? You could probably bring it up (stop it down) a little more, and leave the shutter open a tad longer and get rid of the foggy-ness.
Its worked for me in the past

that is at night..
its a combo of the storm coming, the orange lights at the school glowing onto the sky..
edit :
Chris this is the same pic, with a different F-stop and a tad longer shutter speed...

The second one, to me at least, is more visually appealing
Nice work!
I like how you can see the storm coming over the trees, and how the light reflects off the dash inside the car, thats good stuff.

and i know 99% of u hate HDR pics, but i was just messing in photomatx and came out with this..
yes i know WATER MARKS FTL on FREE VERSIONS

yeah opi was right i was just being a smart ass.
I like the HDR pic, it doesnt make it look like a cartoon, and it makes the colors pop. very nice.
