Oh believe me...if I actually went through and added everything up from over the years it would surpass that mark. That is why I don't...I like it better when I don't know, haha.

Awesome find. I love NYG, and wish I could find one for myself.
After owning a 2gen, then a 1gen, I like the 1gen because they're more sporty and quick, and reaaaally easy to find parts for/work on. I'd suggest getting a Haynes repair manual, or something similar. It know it helped me out ALOT when working on my car.
If i lived closer I'd come and help ya with your waterpump and timing belt. Done a SOHC and a DOHC before, they're not really fun, but they sure do let you know your way around the engine more

What about Joe (team livid)? $50K neon?!
Good luck with the car Josh, mine wont be getting much exterior love for a while, unless I pull out the smash thats in the rear. The only parts it'll be getting are primered hood and trunk, and rear 1/4 panel when I replace that part.

I doubt that.
My car still has all the MTX swap bugs, like the clutch safety switch not being there, the reverse lights not coming on with the car being in reverse, the speedo dosen't work, I don't have a bobble strut, I need new struts, no rear sway, bushings all shot. My front bumper shows the red thats underneath, the hood shows the barney purple that was under it, my core support and bumper are bent, and my windshield is scratched.
However, I think mine might be faster with the computer and header!

Ha, I was just going through your old posts about the NYG. I didn't know it was in THAT bad of shape though.
I think you're right on the faster thing... that is... if you can get it to run.
So what's keeping you from moving it right now? Ever get that gas tank fixed?

Yeah, its all back together, it runs, but it wont pass MD inspection. I need to bleed my brakes, make my speedo work, and get new headlights. Shit, I'd drive it everyday with the speedo not working, and the idle being weird, I love the car so much. Watch out for rust on your gas tank straps!! I really need to sell my apexi catback, and buy this header I saw on the dot org. I'd be in fat city.
I might end up just trading the catback with this guy for an inspection sticker if my other guy can't pull through :-/. I'd be making a side exit for my car at that point with the stock piping lol.

OK, so the car is ALREADY have problems... oh god am I pissed right now. I was on my way to get the title signed over in my name, and the car started to stutter when I accelerated. I thought nothing of it.. then it got worse and worse. Then the check engine light came on. I couldn't find the damn building, so I just headed home. Pulled the codes.
12, 24, 24, 55.
Code 24 Throttle Position sensor out of range
Solution: Haynes: Test the TPS.
.ORG: Test/Replace TPS
So oh joy... can't drive the car around this weekend because I don't have time to get to the junkyard.
BYR. wanna pick me a few of those up as well? haha.
