I got sick and tired of the "chrome" look of the Konig Unknowns, and I tried to find something a little more retro looking, so I did my research and came across the Konig Heatsinks and ordered them from the nearest Discount Tire store. I wasn't planning getting new tires, but I did anyways (had 205/40's, now have 215/45s!)...I'll explain the story below. Here's the pics!

Here's a lightened pic so you can see how the fender gap decreased with the new tires:

And here's a few pics of the interior and a few new additions...
Whole interior shot (new mods are silver-painted gauge bezel, Sparco shift knob, and little Mopar badge in front of shifter):

"Steering wheel" Mopar logo (if you ever see this on Ebay, do NOT get it for your steering wheel...does not fit)

Sparco shift knob ($100 shift knob, paid $25 from a kid who used it for 6 months!):

Ok, on to the story...When I was getting my new wheels installed, I was planning on using the existing tires so I could save up for some newer ones and get them next Spring, but as they were taking a tire off one of the wheels, they broke one of the beads... :banghead: They said they would take care of the one tire, but should get a pair. I told them I was going to upgrade to a 215/45 size next spring, so they looked and they had 4 Falkens in that size, so thank God my dad was there and he paid for the tires (paying him back next weekend). The story gets better though...I looked at the 1st wheel they took out of the box, and low and behold, the shipping company dropped it and it had a lil ding in the lip! So they ordered another wheel and will be at the store next Friday (hopefully). Oh yeah, they forgot to give me the $7.43 in change for the wheels too! Haha, oh well...my dad has ordered wheels/tires from them for a few years now, and shit happens. I'll still deal through them. Just not a good day for them I guess. Anyways, I think the wheels/tires look great! The higher profile tire filled the fender well very nicely! I'm mucho happy with it all!

SHUT UP OPI! WHAT DO YOU KNOW?!?!

Kidding bud. They are opal in color, which is kindof a hyper black or something. I thought they would be darker myself, but oh well. They're glossy, but they aren't even close to looking like chrome. Look MUCH better in person!

you neglected to mention if they discounted your new tires the amount one of your old tires cost, since they fucked it up. those are some meaty lookin tires, dood. how well do they hook?

Those new wheels are great! Not as flashy as your other ones. I liked your other ones too, but this addition just makes your car shine even more which is... uhhh... impossible?

I like the wheels. Now if those wheels were black, they'd look even more badass IMO.

I was hoping they were darker than they really are...I may consider getting them painted a darker gunmetal or something...someday.

i'm diggin' the new wheels more than the old ones

Thanks all, the only think I don't like is that the car itself sits off the ground quite a bit now that I have higher profile tires. Oh well, at least the fender gap is smaller! :)

^HOLY WARS!!! (imitates guitar solo)

Edit: Posted late. Was responding to Bomtrack07's sig.

I like the wheels to cuz they look less gawdy ans a little more subtle.

I like the new ones better, the car looks awesome. I especially like the beefy tires, good choice on size.

I'm pissed at myself for cheaping out and buying itsy bitsy tires when I got my new wheels. Thanks to that decision and my lovely wife...both my front wheels are curbed. :beatstick: Big tires FTW.
