I GOT IT PAINTED!!!! Yeah, it doesn't have the holes cut out like I planned (because my dad got it painted for me without me knowing...I was gonna work on the hood this winter), but I hope it will not be like that forever Anyways, here's the pics...all comments are welcome, even the nasty, rude "that looks like shit" comments.





















BTW, the paint is DuPont Hot Hues "HotRod" black. It's more of a semi-gloss than a flat, but I still think it looks pretty good.

Ah, I was looking into pistol grips at one point, but decided against it. I really like my new Sparco shift knob I bought. It's very comfortable.

Damn dude, your car is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hot. That hood really completed the look. IMO there is really nothing else you can do visually to that car unless you are still going to get the vinyls for the hood and maybe cut out the hood scoop to make it functional for your next big mod..... TURBO biatch!

That was going to be my suggestion as well, graphics for the "sides" of the hood bulge. The paint does look flat black in the pics.

Thanks guys! Yeah, in person it's more semi-gloss. I have been thinking of maybe doing something with vinyl on the sides of the scoop, but not sure what yet.

Wow.. looks great... now get those vinyl's made for the hood, get the trunk part painted (like the old school cars), paint the grills on the front bumper (like you photoshoped a while back), get the folding side mirrors (paint matched to the car), and get some better rims... lol....

Just joking on the rims... I rather see them with black accents like you old ones.... The ones you have now remind me of the viper "H" rims... Other than that I like it alot...

Looks pretty good and good choice with the semi-gloss paint, however, I probably would have sanded out the ridge in the top of the scoop since it doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the car. Still a good looking car nonetheless
