well my cf pedals are lighter than the rubber covers, but i sure didnt buy them with that in mind. and i doubt the stock valve cover wieghed much in the first place. even if it was a case of weight savings, 500+$ on 2-3lbs is absolutly insane imo. it is indeed nice to look at tho, id love to have one someday!

That is a bunch to pay for a few oz. of weight redux. But, I second the fact (prolly thrid or fourth) that the aprt is gorgeous and will set off his engine bay in the coolest way.
I think we've alll been guilty of overpaying cuz we REALLY want something. (23K on an engagement ring anyone? hahaahaha)

but seriously....the stock valve cover probably weighs like 5 pounds? Im guessing. But still it looks nice, and every little ounce adds up for some people.

i believe it was louie that said, you cant save 100 lbs on one piece, but you can save 1 lbs on a 100 pieces... or something like that.

23K thats insane... but a lady i used to work with got one from her future hubby for about that or a little more... sheit... i could get another car for that price or use it as a downpayment on a house. if she needs 23K to love me then something isn't right

and yes it's for all show.. the stock VC hardly weighs anything and the black car is slow so eh... just some bling under the hood
