no.....most of the parts are in the garage for that. took off the front bumper for fitment of the intercooler, and ended up just cutting away at it.........it's at the paint shop get'n painted. Thought i'd put the intercooler on to see if it would drag.

Nice, another bagged guy on here. Couple things though
First I see you have smc check valves after the smc valves. Where are your dump valves. I don't see how you can dump the car out with the check valves after the regular valves. And it looks as if you have a viair compressor. What viair comp is it? 380? And if so then I am guessing that you are running around 200 psi. In that case I would be weary about that plastic water trap. I run 2 viair 380s(soon to be 480s by tomarro when I get them) and I run 2 smc metal bowled water traps. There have been problems with those busting when people run them to 200 psi(the plastic ones that is.) So I would look into getting some good metal check valves. Which can be had at many places. If you have any questions about air ride I will help ya with any of it. I am very knowlagable when it comes to air and can probably answer any questions you have. Nice ride. Nice being that low isn't it? haha

well......the dumps I mounted in the wheel wells, didn't want all that sound in the cab, even though you can still hear it.
The compresser is a Viaair 550 I believe, correct me if Im wrong. And only running one 3gallon tank......should spank myself for that, so I've got another one to be mounted inthe very near future. and it's rated at 150psi.

II don't know for sure what viair comp you have. They all look alot alike. The 550 is a good comp but sadly can't run to 200 psi. I will be running 2 480 comps as of tomarro. Pretty fast comps and can run to 200 psi. And I run a 8 gal tank and I think it is the perfect size. Small enough to still give decent fill times yet big enough to give you some play time. 3 gals is crazy small. You probably have NO play time. I love hittin switches and I will never go smaller than my 8 gal. I used to have a 5 but I upgraded. And now I have a chrome 5 gal tank I will be adding in for shows I can open it up and have 13 gals for lots of switch time. But with 6 gals of air I would def reccomened getting another compressor. The viair 480 dual pack is a damn good choice. But you can just get another 550 to keep cost down. The rule of thumb is 1 compressor for every 5 gals of air. After that it starts to hurt you compressor a little and will shorten the life span of it by some. Just something to think about. And be prepared to dumb some money into air. It gets addicting and when you need to buy stuff it gets expensive. I probably have 2750 into my system. But it works damn good, has good fill times, lots of play time, and a great set up overall.

do you have a pic of you trunk?? and will a 8 gallon fit in the trunk? I thought about buying just another tank instead of running 2-3 gallon tanks. I searched around the forum for a second on airride set up's and all I could find was Krackstar's stuff.
I need some bigger wheels too...........those 15's are sad now that I look close. Anyone wanna trade some 17's for some 15's?

Here is an older shot.
Looks a little different now. Now I have 2 better faster viair 480 compressors and I have a sticker on my tank. I also have the side ports where all teh fittings are that the water traps and all that are different. Now I have 2 water traps and everything cleaner looking. Soon I am going to make covers for everything and make it alot more show worthy. So. An old pic but just goes to show you can fit an 8 gal tank. Just have to move it back a bit from where you got your tank mounted.

Nice bro! Ummmm...aren't those gauges gonna be a lil bit hard to see? I haven't sat in the Neon in awhile, so I don't remember what that looks like.

well, yes and no, you'll see them at night when lite up.......and out of the way. The guages are gonna be black faced anyway, unless I change my mind.............don't know now there ther finally instock!?!
also.........
Suggestions on were to mount my compresser, Viair 450, approx. 10 1/2 x 5 1/2 x 4. The sound in the trunk is loud!!!!!!!!!! Think it'll make as much in the spare tire well? or will it run hot in there? also, how bout under the car??????????? suggestions??

upside down under the rear of the car. also you might want to roll over the water trap, kind defeats the purpose lol

I know, forgot to do that before snaping the pic. I've had a leak there lately becuase of me taking it in and out alot lately. NOt driving it much right now anyway........the camber is sooooooooooooo bad on the front, the stearing wheel is gansta leaning the the right.
Thought about under the trunk, but with all the fuel lines on the passenger side.......and I thought, since the exhaust dumps on the drivers side, it might be a bit hot on that side??

could u put a T to run 2 compressors. like have 2 compressors then put them on a t then screw it into the tank. the reason i would do that if there was only 8 ports and instead of drilling a new hold u just put a t for 2 compressors? would that work?

Ok here I go. The 450s are just plain loud to begin with. ALot louder than my 480s which are faster and can do 200 PSI *grin* You could put them under the car. But I would not and most do not reccomend it. As they have the heat fins on the top for a reason. They are there to help. And heat rises so mounting them upside down is making those pointless. Most on s10 forum reccomened keeping it upright. I had brackets bent by a buddy of mind to be able to mount mine under my car but I dont think I am going to use them. Iam not sure yet.
I wouldn't mount them in the spare tire space as they will not get alot of air under there. And you will kill them. They need to be kept cool.
And sxxxt I also wouldn't run them in a "t" fitting. While it is possible and won't really hurt the comps it slows them down. So you are actually decreasing your fill times. DJD over on s10 forums proved it. I have an 8 port 8 gallon tank. ANd i have my comps connected to seprete water traps and going into seperate ports(I use the side ports for the comps. Then on the front 4 ports I have the valves mounted direct to tank. Was easiest at the time and then I didn't have to mount them anywhere as my trunk is PACKED with my subs and my 8 gal tank. SO with 8 ports you can easily run each comp to its own port. And each comp should have its own water trap as well. They are kinda expensive(20 or so I think) but they are WELL worth it and will save you alot of trouble in the long run.
The end

so you can hook up two comppressors, and the valvs all on a 8 port? what are all 8 ports for? im gettin ready to buy a new air kit, and i wasnt sure what the 8 were for. and would a 5 port work? cuz i dont want a small 5 gallon i want a 8 gallon. and i think its a 5 port. im lookin for a chrome 8 port 8 gallon.

think of it like this, the more ports, the more parts you can add. I'm currently running a 3 ga tank with one compressor. It has enough air in it to air up all four bags and then fill. My tank has only 4 ports in it, and i'm making it work with certain fittings............... and o my, wait till you get to the fittings part, your gonna love it!
