My buddy's hot 2gn w/ srt swap!
let me tell you...this car was hideous for a while....at one point all of his panels were of a different color.... he had an complete srt swap, including engine/tranny/interior/suspension/brakes/body. He molded the front bumper to allow the 00-02 lights to look better......then painted it a dark blue (not sure of the name).....anyways....here it is....along w/ a few of my srt since i took the pics

First time I've liked those lights..
First car that's made me like those headlights.
Like the color too, very classy, and looks good with the CF.
Also the second car with the SRT on the door I think was originally an SRT.

Clean and well executed
The SRT rendition and conversion was well executed and is fairly clean. Accolades to the designer as I admire the ingenuity on some aspects like the headlight to front bumper cover and use of RT sideskirts. With these subtle changes and details it doesn't make it seem to try to be an authentic SRT4 - its being unique but with adequate bite with the SRT engine conversion. I sound like a Road and Track magazine writer...
Kudos to the owner and designer for a well executed rendition.

Hmmm, I am torn about the 00-02 lights on the srt bumper... loks good, but not sure if I like it hidden somewhat under the bumper. I do like the rest of the car though

here i am.. havent been on here in months. thanks guys i appreciate all the compliments! means a lot.. i put my life saving(which isnt alot.. im18) nd a lot of time into this car.. yes it is a full srt swap.. everything is from my wrecked srt that i bought except the headlights and doors nd quater panels. srt interior suspension w/ lowering springs.
for anyone that wants to know about the bumper..this is what i did.. i got the bumper off of my wrecked donor srt.. the bumper was bent, cracked and mis-shaped.. after fixing all that, i put the bumper on the car.. i molded the bumper while it was on. First, i cut out for the blinkers.. which left a huge gap. like 1.5" atleast from the bumper to the actualy blinker. I taped up the lights. Then, i fiberglassed everything in.. many layers and A LOT of sanding to shape it out.. i also used bondo to make the surface smoothier. then sanded a lot more. a lot of work was done w/ shaping the bumper.. it took a good 2 weeks straight to do.
heres an engine shot. nothing special.. injector cover off.. stock looking.. but not for long. i'm painting everything for this season once it gets warmer out.. nd 50 trim w/ supporting mods soon to come!!!!!!!!!!!!
hahaha bill.. it was hidious for a while.. heres what he's talkin about..lol.. nd after i fiberglassed everything up. i painted it a way lighter blue just so it wont stand out as much. still won first place on srt day w/ a rediculously lighter blue bumper!..
