I was ready to buy a set of BC's this spring because I had the same problems with my KW's. Now I don't know. A lot of the guys on the SRTforums had problems with the KW's and switched to the BC's. They seem to like the BC's better over there. I wish somebody would just make a consistently decent set of coilovers.

275 I think....

The reason I believe they had problems with their KWs dominiaa is b/c they didn't have them set right. The KWs are great, if you adjust them right and not try to lower them to the ground since the adjustment isn't technically for ride height but for spring pre-load.

Here's a new picture after finally getting around to finishing the install tonight since I was waiting on a bolt from manny z. I'm still looking for 2 bolts though that are shorter to replace the ones being used at the knuckle since they're too long. Have to go to a specialty nut and bolt place tomorrow to see if they have what I need. Waiting on a set of Rage-Tek traction bushings right now so once those go on, hopefully next weekend, it's going in for an alignment. Should feel pretty nice when it's said and done then since I'm going from worn stock bushings, to upgraded all around with pretty much no rubber between the suspension and body of the car. Only place would be at the rear tension struts and that's the upgraded Mopar tension struts w/ Energy Suspension bushings.

Is it a SRT thermal muffler, cuz it dont fit in the openings... and thats a regular 2gn bumper... go figure!?

It looks nice so now you can adjust the camber and toe even more eihhh?
What is next?

What kind of difference did you feel with them on?

Nope, it's the Thermal for the R/T-ACR. It fits the openings, it's just how the picture was taken that makes it look like it doesn't.

Yeah, camber and toe should be pretty easy to adjust now. Not to say it wasn't easy before but the stock setup and bolts were a PITA since they were rusted to pieces.

Don't know yet on the difference, haven't driven it yet while I'm waiting on the alignment since it's way off.

Diablo0 wrote:Manny Z Rear Control Arms

Going on this weekend as long as I get some required bolts by then that were left out of the box by accident. :) Being installed along with it, a SRT control arm to replace the Neon control arm thats in there right now on the passenger side that I had to put in b/c the ball joint in the original control arm was shattered from the donor car. Mopar Performance Tension struts, Energy Suspension bushings... and now these. Not to mention some brand spankin new tires finally :D Hopefully in the coming weeks Rage-Tek will have their Traction bushings out again in which case those will go in as well.

thats cool, Manny Z is local to me...it's cool to see his gear selling still...where did you purchase these from?

Yeah, I've been wanting a set for a few years now but each time I think about buying a set I find that he's not making them at the time so I put them on hold again. Depending on how I like them on the white car, the black may get them too in the future.

I got them from him directly on SRTforums.

I put a set of Manny Z arms on about a year ago and the car has gone 27k more miles since then. I went for the steel ones instead of aluminum because the car is driven daily. I would say they've been very good so far. The arm kit comes with bolts but you'll find that the bolts don't fit on the knuckle side. They fit the rod ends but the Neon is metric so the bolts don't fit through the knuckles. I re used the stock metric bolts and they work but it's more of a loose fit through the rod end than I'd like. I was either going to try and find a really thin wall bushing to take up the difference, or bore the knuckle out to standard size to use the bolt from the kit. As of yet I've done neither. It has not caused any problems so far.

One thing you will have to accept about them though is they are more race car than daily driver hardware. The rod ends will wear and when they do they will start to make noise. Mine were fine at first , the ride was just like stock. Eventually they started making noise when you go over speed bumps and really rough roads at lower speeds. I checked on them about a week ago and they do have a little play but nothing to worry about, I shot penetrating grease on them and they have quieted down. It would be nice if the rod ends had zerk fittings on them.

All that said I'd buy them again or make my own set if I had to.

Good to know on them loosening up over time, I figured they would in time so I'll have to keep an eye on them.

I do also wish the rod ends on the knuckle were 12MM though to match the stock bolt. Hopefully it won't shift around too much...
