I think you should get a Carbon spoiler for the car. I don't usually like spoiler's, but I think it would suit your ride.

With OB, I think the lip needs to be painted badly. Just looks cheap and autozone-ricerish to me. Bottom of the car just disappears.

thanks guys i think i am going to have to paint it then

.ill have the money the 15th of this month so it wont be too long before it is done.i dont know bout the avs spoiler,i like it but i have the stock spoiler holes in the truck right now so i am thinking that i am going to buy a carbon trunk after i get the lip kit painted and then maybe a carbonbydesign CF spoiler like the avs style.or they have the CF covered srt spoiler on there too so let me know what ya think,by the way if anything covinced me to paint the lip it was the autozone ricer comment, hehe i f&#kin hate ricer looking cars.i like clean, simple, striking.

I really don't get why people decide to paint the lip kit black...unless it's on a black car, it looks terrible IMO. Paint it the same color as the car and invest in a carbon trunk, and go with either a carbon AVS spoiler or spoilerless...do NOT get the SRT spoiler! Ick...
Other than the black lip, lookin good!

you put the rear lip on too low. That dip in the middle, the one that's the size of the bumper boobs... Yeah, that's supposed to go around the bumper boobs. It looks retarded sitting there 3/4 of an inch too low.

hehehe its not a half inch too low.it is snugged up around the "boobs" as you say.spot on in every way,the photo or the fact that the lip kit is black makes it look off for some reason, but it is lined up snug to the "boobs" and there is no way to bring it up farther than it is even if i wanted to,it sits flush with the bottom of the rear bumper cover, thank you for pointing it out tho,ill take more pics when it is painted and see what it looks like then.
supertrick i didnt paint the lip black,i bought it that way.fitted it and now i am debating on the painting,i think the reason most people like there lips black is becase it looks old school in a way,i think it looks "okay" but am not head over heals for it for sure, the car is a long ways from done at this point, and paint is next on the list, the prob is that the damn OB paint is pricey,i already put 2 thousand into that car in the last two months so its hard for me to explain to the wify poo that i need to spend even more, lol
thanks for all the comments and keep them coming,i do all of my own work so it takes some time for me to finish my projects so ill post pics when i do each of em

Yeah, mine is the same...maybe a TAD bit closer than his, but it's not "snug" to the bumber titties...neither is anyone elses:
Although Mike hung his much below his titties...

I actually saw your car today pulling out of AutoZone, think thats the first time I've seen it around town. Congratz on it going into paint, it'll look so much cleaner when its all one color.

hehe yeah i was there today lol.picking up new wax.its funny because i was talking to two of the guys that work there about my car and they didnt want me to paint it,my wife doesnt want me to paint it,my brother, almost all of my friends say no to painting it too, they are going to be picketing my driveway i think

and steelblue, i am going to K&D for the paint and give em a shot as per your advice

so i hope(crossing my fingers) it will all go smooth

Haha cool. I hope they give you a good quote. My husband would be painting it so I know it'll turn out good. He said that it will be much cheaper if you just bring the peices in instead of having them blend into the rest of the car. I'd make sure they pull your paint code and match the car up to their chip book for the closest match possible.

yeah i am going to pull em off in the next day or two, hehe i want it done now! dont like waiting,i want to see it done and on the car

anyways its good to know your husband is the one that wil be doing it.he painted your srt bumper right? all the pics i have seen of it look freakin sweet, making me feel better bout my choice and getting it done localy instead of medford like i was looking into, thanks for the heads up blue

Yup, he painted the front bumper, hood and side skirts while he was still in school for autobody/custom painting. Ben's K&D's sole painter (other than the owner who doesn't spray much) so its guaranteed that he'll be the one doing it and since he knows its coming he'll take extra care of it for you.

I was kinda wondering what the hell happened. I looked through your previous posts to see if this was a trend or something. But yeah, that post didn't fit with your others at all.
No harm done

Lol Yea. I was like dude, wtf.
I haven't quite decided if I like the color matched over the black. I have a atlantic blue sxt and was thinking of doin black srt hood, stock spoiler black, and then mopar lip kit black. GAH SO MANY CHOICES!
