I just got my Tokiko Blues, Kazera springs (1.5" drop) and Hotchkis Sways installed, yay me! Install at a shop FTL though... :banghead: :beatstick: . The ride's not super stiff, but it definitely feels "tight" in a good, responsive way.

i think i.5 is the perfect drop, looks good and handles well and not low enough to scrape over speed bumps

asanti how much did you pay for the install

don't feel bad.,.....I am looking to do the same thing. Mine is a little to low for me....but of course I am on blown struts in the rear. THe front handles great though.

That's a nice looking drop. I think the Neon should have come from the factory like that. After looking at my about 1,5" drop for some while now I think the ride looks like stock height unless I park it next to some stock Neon. :D

$647 just for install or did that include parts?

That sounds like a nice set-up! Got the same one, but minus the Hotchkis. Lookin good! It's not a huge drop, but it levels out the ass with the front and looks nice and clean!

Nice clean drop! You might actually need to get it re-aligned next week or so, because those springs will settle and will change things...

Thanks for all the compliments guys  . This drop has been a LONG time comin', that's for sure! I went on a'joyride' last night and the car's a joy to drive, especially around tight curves @ highway speeds (umm, or above  ). For the CT/MA peeps here, I took Rt 8 South, (very twisty around Naugatuck), took the curves at 75-85 with NO problems at all; I could've gone faster but I was just 'testing' the limits and didn't feel like pushing my luck on the 1st drive. You could definitely feel the suspension working to keep the car level which was pretty cool. The car now has that 'bounce' when you drive over bumps in the road but it's not the 'ricer' type of bouncing down the road . Honestly the ride's not much worse than stock so Nutmeg I definitely recommend these struts to you (shameless plug for ModernPerformance here ). Man I wound up coming home like 2 hrs later, wife was like "where were you?"

Yeah, I already have Kazeras as well, but I figure a set of struts would be nice to have in the near future.

The end result is just what I'm looking at for mine. Looks great! But, holy hell I think that the shop..... well, lets just say I hope you had some :ky: because, Oooouch!

Those are the struts I'll be picking up this summer to go along with the H&R springs I already have in the garage waiting for the drop.

Yup, Kazera springs are now discontinued I believe...IMO, next best springs are the Progress springs (kinda wish I woulda got those instead, but I'm happy with the Kazeras). Even 1.8" drop.

I'm glad you like the suspension setup! I gotta get me some sways now...don't even have a rear factory sway!

do it urself dude!! rent a free spring compressor from auto parts store and this can be done with hand tools and a jack! would be faster to tighten the spring compressor with air gun but it can be done without one!! ive done 5 complete spring change overs. even the first time wasnt bad! or bring it to my house and ill do it for $400 lol  but seriesly I will lol

drop looks good but id say a bit lower aswell. my car dropped over 2" on my DD and i drive it all winter like that and i live in Canada lol no excuses!! lol

You suck Silversport! Besides I'd have to pay another $400 in gas to drive up your way :cussing: :banghead: ... I was thinking of doing it myself but I got lazy. Working 60+ hours/week kinda saps the life out of me on weekends  . Oh well.
