nice pics, looks like the vents came out good.
For future record, on street tires drive around the water box and don't do a burnout, just spin the tires a bit between the waterbox and the line to scrub the tires clean.

Yeah I tried to do that but they wouldn't let us go around the box.

14.9 is more of a 1st gen DOHC with a few bolt ons! Thats about what my '96 coupe would do anyway! Definately get that thing to hook. 14.0s is achievable on stock tires!

I ran a 14.8 in my SRT-4, first time at the track ever last summer. Only been driving a stick for less than a year. That was with Stage 1, Bwoody motormounts, and weight redux all around too.
I know I had a boost leak, plus I later found out when I pulled my plugs that my number 1 plug was almost closed shut. I also had my tires at 32 psi, forgot to lower them, besides how would I fill em back up on the drive home I know I know excuses excuses. But they are legit. My 60 foot time was 2.641.
So don't feel bad Passt.

13.83 stock on street tires set at @20 psi, first session down a drag strip in a car. I think that was the 3rd pass i made, with a 2.1x 60ft, with a 13.9x on the next one to back up a 13second stock car. Now, with the mods in my garage, I can't hook first, spin part of second, and ran a best of 13.9x shifting to second @4000 rpms a few weeks ago on the same tires.
Every track I've been to has a free air pump.
More track time and maybe a better suspension setup if you're spinning, is all its gonna take to get into the mid-high 13's. Those kdw's are supposed to be pretty mean on the track.
Boost leaks confuse me. All its going to do if its minor is make the turbo run harder to maintain whatever the wastegate is set at, it shouldn't affect performance unless its huge, right?
