I love the way it looks until you get close to it and you can see the bubbles in the paint :banghead:

Well, I can't see the bubbles in the pics so I have to say it looks great!

I do like your assortment of tools there...including the empty case of beer...rough job?

Must be your neighbors. I got to wonder though...Molson Canadian and Coors Light mix?!?!? WTF?
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

 good to know since I didn't think the legal drinking age in Canada was less than 21 anymore. Correct me if I'm wrong thou. And if it is 21, I'm sure you don't break the law...right?

But the car really does look great without the mouldings...especialy in Graphite!

I think the legal drinking age is 19 there.
As for the bubbles some pre-wax (cutting) will help with that without damaging the paint, followed by a wax. Then the discoloration will eventually fade to where you have to look for it (it will always be there).

When I pulled my mouldings off, I was told by a professional painter that the paint would have to be removed completely, and the door repainted, as the paint had actually bubbled off of the door completely. I somehow don’t think wax is going to get rid of the bubbles…

Hey, Jen, I would have to agree with our whole 2GN family as your baby looks hawt, without the moldings. ;)

Sorry too hear about the paint situation, though.... I do believe that John is correct in that the pre-wax should help out some. It should help minimize the imperfections in the paint. Most people wont even notice, but since it's your baby, unfortunately your eyes will always be drawn to it. :(

I didn't say it would get rid of the bubbles but would help out some by smoothing over some of the imperfections.

Now... Jen... get yourself ANOTHER case of beer and stop saying its your brother's by celebrating your beautiful car appropriately.
