The rims are on! Yessssssss
Enkei Evo 5 in Hypersilver. 17x7 35mm offset. A tiny bit lighter than stock. 18.5 lbs each.
Took 2 minutes to take pictures on my way home. Car is dirty, but you get the idea! I love them! Messed around with photobucket in the editing thing for a couple of minutes and added borders as you can see.
Wheelsnext gave me the wrong hubrings. The outer diameter was fine and matched the rim, but they gave me a 54.06mm for the inner and it needs a 57.10. Tried to get ahold of them but no one answered. I shall call tomorrow.
On with the picts.
I am considering on selling the tail lights and just putting the stockers back on. I believe these don't really flow with the car anymore due to my wheels not being black. (Thank God)
It would be sick to colormatch them like that HakNslash dude does. But I really don't want to disassemble them and mess up. $$$
Should I put the stockers back on, or keep the black LED's?
I am leaning towards the stockers personally since they are clean and there isn't much going on with them.

Hot.
Stock tails, or paint the LED's silver. You can do eeet! Just stick them in the oven (set as LOW as it can go and still be on) for like 5 minutes or so and just keep and eye on them and pull them out and feel them every once in a while. Once they're warm, they should pry apart fairly easily, just be gentle so you don't chip the plastic. Then it's off to mask and paint, slather some RTV back into the seams and stick 'em back together.

??? They only make two different LED tails to my knowledge.... The chrome ones and the black ones. I have the Depo black ones.ragek23 wrote:I love the 5 spoke and the LED tails. IF they where the euro LED they would look bad but whatever those are they go quite well with your setup.
I see where you are coming from... I honestly never wanted to roll my rear bumper, but you kind of have to when you go SEE or well, you have two cutouts... I am thinking about getting it re-routed to the back. SRT-Hookups is coming out with a rear diffuser, its in the developing stages right now.. Taht will definately fill the back up if I stay with SEE.the car looks a little high in the back due to the invisible exhaust but other than that it looks great! loooove the rims.
It does looks good.nightshade the stockers
black and silver = sex. pure pure sex
But its over done. The more I see people with the black LED's the more I hate them for some reason. :S
Thanks. I would like to do it but I don't have enough confidence in my painting skills. Now if it was on something cheap I would do it.Hot.

I had the black housing headlights. I sold them before I even put them on. (Got an insane deal on them)z3roneo wrote:Keep the led tails and get some black housing headlights...
I am staying away from the black and silver theme.
Trying to keep everything silver.

I like them both. I think having them colormatched would be sick as hell. I don't have the confidence to take apart a $150 set of tail lights and hopefully have the paint come out good. If someone has done it before and is good at it. I am willing to pay some money.i voted for LED's bro, i think you should body march the housings, that would look mint.
scott.
Drove the car to work and the stock tails do look good.

Yeah. I like it... But then I don't. It sounds great and looks good at the proper angle. But it hangs way too low. Like if you bend over and look under neath your car, there is a channel for the exhaust to go under. Well since the SEE doesn't bend down and is straight the entire exhaust has to go low. It looks cool from behind but it bugs me a tiny bit when looking at the side from a distance.Nutmeg wrote:You have the ED SEE? How's the sound, and how does it fit? Do you have a cat or res?
