i want to find some kind of rubber in black or red though... not yellow...

anyone have a clue as to where to find (silicone) couplers??? ive been all over town and still havent found a place yet that sells them... seems the 'we dont currently have any in stock' really means 'we never carry them put im feeding you this bullshit as to not make you wonder why a car shop that sells intakes wouldnt carry couplers'

all right, two stores later i went to home depot as a last resort... surprisingly they have 1.5", 2", 1.5"->2", 2"->2.5" and 2"->3" but no 2.5" coupler.... that guy was such a dick there, needless to say i wont be frequenting that establishment for awhile..

best buy, now home depot..... what next!?

APC makes them...i found them on a site a few weeks ago when iw as trying to find new couplers for my old intake. heres a link to the site i found them on

http://www.racerwheel.com/under-the-hoo ... s-apc.html

should be almost near the bottom, the "boot kits" as they call them. they have 3" and 2.5" couplers

I Just use the 3" x 3" coupler from Home Depot. You just have to tighten it down a bit more, but it holds perfect.
