hey everyone, hope all is well. Havent posted pictures of the neon in quite awhile and a friend was asking about it, so I figured id give a little update. Shortly after I got my MS maps good and strong, i blew second gear out of my atx. So its been limping from first to third for a while until last month when I decided to park it after finding the cause of a loud rattle in the front of the engine... bad timing tensioner causing the belt to flop so bad it was actually striking the timing belt cover! any how here are some pics of the goodies and where it stands as of now... things friggin fast... havent gotten it to a track or dyno but soon my friends soon!
enjoy!

RacerSteve inspired transmission. Parts from Steve Lockett from the big org. Great guy with lots of information! raybestos low gear clutches and steels, alto six disk and steel high gear clutch kit, kevlar bands, upgraded low/reverse band strut, with a Chad Killbrook RMVB with Lock-up.

Time out from work for an airshow! my Girl posing on a P-51... my dream combination... lol

Thunder Birds Pass and Review... these guys brought back memories of the F-16's that would fly over when I was in Iraq... awe inspiring to say the least

back to work! lol about to be dropped in!

ready for hip replacement!

random pics of it in the air in the garage. exhaust cut out being cleaned up a bit before being glassed over to flow better with my dual tip exhaust. Not changing it for my life! love that exhaust... dynomax super Turbo

doing some toying with ideas of how to incorporate the bumper with Hahns sidewinder IC. Almost more of a pain in the a than its worth... but the same side input output is nice for piping

new one being slid under the car for install

lining it up and installation

nice and comfy at home

at last count my tool box has 85 horse power... watch out civics my tool box is coming for ya!

dampner pulley didnt stand a chance for this puller.

finished product! everything where it belongs... and running!

trans cooler saying peekaboo.

Peak and hold board for my MS built. just gotta add it to the MS2 when i put in my new injectors, 1200cc's

did some gauge reorganizing. moved my fuel pressure and my EGT gauge in better quick scan location.

just thought this was a cool picture!

a sign of a job well done... parts left over! haha no they are suspension bolts and trans lines that i replaced. put camber bolts on and trans cooler lines.
so thats how it sits now! next additions i have in the mix are an upgraded fuel rail and FPR that I can mount on the rail. so i can get rid of the BEGI i have on the back fire wall. will probably start looking for a bigger turbo also, I think i am going to be pushing the limits of this one soon, if I'm not already after the new injectors.
thanks for looking and good luck tuning!
