That line will fade over time, however, in the mean time a good pre-wax and waxing will also help immediately.
Definitely and Improvement... but I'm not opinionated in this matter

Nice job on the molding.

Well worth the effort, looks great.
I would have to agree with
hansken_yo in that a good detailing will work wonders. (boy, that hurt to say....

I used a credit card, heat, and adhesive remover to get the glue residue off. My tape came off on the molding.

on the ms3, I just grabbed on end of the molding and it came right off.. No sticky residue left over.
Then i spent 6 hours Zainoing.

Oh, maybe an hour or two. I just took a lot longer than I could have, and the other side will take about half that. (Yes I'm driving around with half of the car done).

I used 3M general adhesive remover, and a cloth the get it off. Wasn't really hard, just a bit time consuming until you find a quick way to do it.
Thanks for all the comments guys. I am pretty happy with the result.
EDIT: If anyone is really interested I could write a how-to with all materials needed, and pictures.

Another great way of getting the glue strips off (which I didn't use either) is getting a rubber wheel on the end of a drill and going to town. It won't burn the paint unless you hold it on the paint for a good amount of time, and with pressure. It's a quick and easy way of doing it. I used the same method as you...3M remover and a cloth. Took awhile. LOL
Looks good btw! Clean shaven FTW!

Yeah, the 3M remover and cloth method took a bit, but wasn't bad. I just finished the other side, in about half the time as the first, like I said it would take.
And I'll write up a how-to in the next few days so everyone else can benefit.
