but i took some updated shots of the skunk mafter a bath. new additions are the APC seats and the 04 rear bumper that i havent posted pics of yet. coming soon is the MPX polished SRT style shift knob, Prothane Race MM inserts, and adding a rear sway (car has 04 struts all aroudn, no rear sway bar) and an Iceman cold air intake.

thanks man. she really needs paint. and teh pics do alot more justice than what is due... but stephs dad said he would paint her for me. i just haft aod all the prep work and he said he wont spray cheap paint, he only does work that he can be proud of.

ever thought about painting the grill piece black? might look good. At least you left it in, a lot of people remove it, and the bumper looks no good. Weren't you going to do an 02 bumper??? Lookin good!!!

the grille is black. and im still on the hunt for a new bumper. i dont know what one im goingwith yet, but somethign has got to be better than the beat up one i have now. its been thru hell.

I say 02 with either RT, or civic si lip.

i am thinking 02 with civic lip, or a front kit. like the showoff kit. i have a rear and a plan for the sides....

she will always be the skunk. no matter the color of the car. cant change the nameof the car once it's set.


my MPx order camein today, so she should have a new shifter and prothane mount inserts this week. i also have my brackets cut for the rear sway, just gotta drill a couple more holes. camber bolts are waiting for install, and alignment should be done by the end of the week. should also have a front strut bar soon and if sean ever takes it off his car, an Iceman CAI.

this car has been thru hell. it got the absolute worst part of my car modding "career" it has seen painted interior, chrome wheels, graphics, altezzas, aluminum wing, cut holes in the hood, neon lights..... and countless other totally useless mods. when i got my blue car, i parked this one and basically pilfered it for parts and let it rot for over a year. i finally started workign on her again, but the tranny was shot, the engine had bad rings, and i had no money to afford to fix. so i lived with it. fast forward to this year and the blue car and the mustang are gone and i needed a reliable ddaily driver with good gas milage. the car got a new enigne and a MTX swap and this is where shes at now. she still needs alot of work, but she's getting there.


i send out a big thank you to all the 2GN members that show love and support and offer help, tips, and suggestions in my efforts. she'll get there someday.

You did the MTX swap? That's cool as hell...I along with just about everyone else here want to get that going. The interior looked toast but all in all it wasn't that bad IMO. I kind of liked the black trunk.
