Forget about rims for now. There is more basic work that needs to be done:

-Clean up the mess of red wires in the upper right hand area of the engine bay... and that green wire over on the left.

-Do a general cleanup of the engine bay. It doesn't need to be spotless for a daily driver, but could be cleaner than it is now.

-The rad supports and some of the other rusty parts... clean them up and paint them mat black.

-Black paint coming off the wiper arms. Either paint that section mat black or get new arms that are not corroded.

-Get rid of the add-on fogs in the front bumper and replace with original equipment fogs or the delete panels.

-Fix the rust spot on the left side front of the hood.

y sell it.? its not really esthetically(how ever you spell it) pleasing but it runs good! as for the red wires that i was gonna do there was a amp hook up in this car i don't have a system an I am not planning on getting one! some of the red wires though are from the fuse box to the battery!

Yeah definitely clean her up first and I agree with everything Paul said. Pick up some new wiper arm extensions off a junkyard. They should be cheap enough, or paint those. Clean her up and take some better pictures :)

The only bad thing I see is that it's very dirty. I like the color, and it looks like it's in good shape, aside from the rust on the hood.

I say a good wash/wax detail, and more pics, and you're good to go for now.

I'd also debadge it, and shave the side mouldings while you're at it too... just a personal thing though.

Nice, good deal then! As far as rims, man there are so many options out there, you can get anything... what type were you looking for?

You mentioned not wanting to lower it because of the roads, so I imagine you wouldn't want to go any larger than a 16 so you could keep a 50 series, I assume?

I've seen some nice ones on Caravans and such that are interesting, and you could probably get those for dirt cheap at a junkyard...?

That's what I did (essentially) when I got my PT Cruiser wheels a few years ago, was a good deal and they look good.

You have the same struts and all as I do (unless I'm mistaken) so you can run a 16 with a 50 series no problem. I'm running a 205/50 16 on PT Cruiser wheels without any rubbing ,except at full lock on the front end, it's rubbing the sway bar or something, but I'm also lowered a bit, so that could make a difference.

edit: Those wheels aren't bad, but I'm not a fan of wheels with that many spokes, personally.

As far as cheap appearance mods, I'd also go with some smoked sidemarkers and projector headlights!

agree with all them.... wash it, wax it, take care of the rusty hood, lose those ghetto fog lights, and those 14" Plymouth Acclaim wheels look REALLY out of place on there.

They'll fit but you can't use anything bigger than a 40 or possibly a 45 series tire, which may or may not be OK with your roads.
