Here's what I did today all by my lonesome while the Mrs was out . YES my baby was dirty, but I took care of her after everything was done. I'll save the sideskirts and rear lip for another day; Man, after 4 1/2 hours using hand tools only my arm was DEAD !!! (Yeah, FYI for those that don't know me or haven't met me face to face I only have the use of 1 arm ...) Enjoy the pics, comments are welcome!

Yes I agree I want that lip kit on there now lol. I didn't throw it on there mainly because the bumper doesn't have the "X" marks + I believe I'll have to play with it a lil to line it up perfectly. Plus call me weird but I think I'll do a better job with the bumper ON the car. It's coming though, trust me!

I did fix it ! Those pics were taken before I put the new hanger on; it does hang a bit too low for my tastes and the guy I bought it from said he had the hangers re-welded so they hung up higher. I figure w/ the rear lip on, it'll look better. Thanks for the compliment though, I like this setup much better!

Thanks! Reading that coming from you is taken as a great compliment LSP! Long story made short, I was 11lbs, 23" long and stillborn; mom was supposed to have me by C-section, but the attending Dr was a resident (not mom's reguar doc) and freaked, then yanked me out w/ a pair of forceps (think of em as: salad tongs). When he did that, he severed my tendons and some nerves at 3 locations on my right arm: shoulder, elbow, and wrist. On top of that, due to the force he used on my temples w/ the forceps, my right eye is slightly weaker (I had bloodshot eyes till I was 3-4 months old per mom). But it's all good I always tell people that they're talkin to a Ghost after I tell em my life story.

Looks good, Kinda like mine, without the Hammerhead spoiler, but with the pipes. I haven't got that far yet.
I like the '03 rear with the '01 Hammerhead, wasn't sure at first, but it has grown on me. Some day I'll update my crash thread.....

That's the bitch with dual tips made for non R/T rear fascias: they start out lower than normal to clear the fascia. Nothing a little tweaking can't fix tho!

I'd think If you have the R/T bumper (which I see you do) it'd have the X's?? My '03 SXT one had them, albeit VERY small and almost indiscernible. '03+ conversion FTMFW! YOu have it easy back there now, you don't have to cut the exhaust openings out of the bumper... that was fun. Are you going to tweak the exhuast to fit the openings? It's too narrow now. Otherwise, looks great!

Hmm, weird. It IS an '03 R/T bumper, but when I looked it over I didn't see any "X's" marking where to drill. I think I read somewhere in here that the marks were standard in all '04+ Neon bumpers but in only some '03 models? I'd have to get under there and look again. I'll be bringin the car to a muffler shop in the next week or so to get the hangers redone so the tips sit nice n high, and to see if they can center them too. Thanks for the comments!

Yeah, I know all the newer ones had them, but I just assumed that the '03 R/T bumper would have them. I could certainly be mistaken though. And I'm glad about the exhaust, should look awesome!

did you get the bumper from the dealer or is it an aftermarket one? i have an aftermarket stock front bumpers and it didn't have the x's for the lip kit either. kinda of sucked to put on the lip that way but i got it done.

I just read your story. I know exactly what those forceps look like (as I'm in school for surgical tech the people who handle tools and assist surgeons) and they are MEAN ass salad tongs. Its a true miracle you are here, and a testament that you're a strong bastid for dealing with the idiotic resident. Again, car looks great!

[DJ]Tomski Thanks! I got the bumper, exhaust, + tailights from a fellow member on here (umm, magturbo03R/T I believe). The bumper + tailights are OEM off his car. But as it gets colder I'm gettin a little lazier as far as puttin the lip kit on... Anyone wanna come help install it?!

LilSparkPlug Thanks again! The crazy part about what happened to me was the resident DR. NEVER KNEW he did that to me until 9 years later when he saw me in the courtroom !! (yeah, mom sued the hospital for being Dee Dee Dee's )
