After finally getting in touch with this guy on craigslist selling a used dual vibrant set-up, (the one for sale on modernperformance) i drove all the way to his house (about 30 miles) and picked it up for a hot 75$

. Needless to say it was more than worth it.
To my amazment it actually mellowed it out alot compared to the last muffler i had on there. But it really doesnt matter to me, i was shooting way more for looks when i bought it.

thanks man, appreciate it.
well when i took off the stock muffler awhile back, me being the idiot i was threw away the two pieces of rubber that slide on to the hangers. So i was forced to make two hangers of my own, they made the tips ride up a little higher near the bumper than most do. I kinda like it

Yeah it does look good compared to most. Does it stick out far past the bumper? I like it

Thanks for the feedback everybody
And yes the passenger side exit sticks out past the bumper about 1-1.5in, cant understand why that side sticks out more. You have to deffinatly look to notice it, but its there.

So what did you use for your hangers? I'm curious since that exhaust sits nice n high, I like it!

awesome! looks great- and go Texas

if you're anywhere in DFW, 30 minutes isn't too far to drive since they're tons of places around here.

The only real complaint i have about it is it seems really quiet, as in not much louder than stock imo.
asanti- well call me ghetto but i used these old cable clamps to clamp the hangers together, and placed a piece of rubber inbetween the hangers and the clamps so when i hit bumps it wouldent take too harsh of a blow or a bad beating.
Eric- so i guess thats means your in the fort worth area? I take trips up there every now and again, ill let ya know the next time i head up there

Finally someone mounts the Vibrant the way it should have been done from the Vibrant factory.

It fits better because he made custom hangars.
As for the sound. I belive the vibrant is one of the best sounding exhausts for the 2.0 sohc. Sounds perfect.
Any side shots?

Looks good man.
I have one of them sitting in my garage somewhere right now.
I found that when you go to install it, just hook it up to the existing exhaust pipe.. stand to the back side and see how far in it needs to go for the "sticking out" part.. then tighten it up.
For the tips hanging equal part.. get a cheep exhaust clamp from advance auto or pepboys.. hook them up to the rubber hanger (the side thats a little to low) and tighten the lower side up till its level with the other side.
quick fix
But yours looks good, and at 75bucks.. thats a sweet deal!
