I hate you. I have a blaze red Neon and it's ridiculously dirty and getting snowed on.

Besides that, I think it looks good. Not sure if I'm liking the trunk, but it doesn't look bad.

Lastly, you need to get rid of that stock exhaust

i used to have tinted tails so the trunk looked much better, along with a vibrant exhaust. long story short a cop was having a bad day and have me 6 tickets. including one for the tail lights and one for the exhaust. i got them all droped, but that included removing the exhaust and tails. Im hopefully gonna pick up an RT exhaust.

p.s. im in CNY so im getting pounded with snow too

What did you get in trouble for with the exhaust? I can't see it being that loud if you still had the rest of the stock exhuast in tact. I have a Thermal R&D and it's throaty when I get on it, but pretty mellow otherwise. Looks good man!

"modified exhaust" or something to that note. due to the other tickets being moving violations and such i decided not to argue since they took all 6 down too just the exhaust ticket, so like a 150 dollar fine instead of 9 points. but the rt exhaust is stock so i should be fine with that one.

That's pretty stupid, it depends on the cop though. My friend ran a straight exhaust on his Accord for a while and never got in trouble for it. He had it like that for almost 6 months too lol.

looks good. i do like the trunk actually. i do agree with others that new tails and exhaust would be good. i am surprised u got a ticket tho. shouldn't have been extremely loud. what part of cny are u located in just out of curiousity. this also reminds me of the time my friend got pulled over in his honda prelude and he has a dumb fart cannon and the cop was gonna give him a ticket for it but then my friend said that no they weren't gonna because of two trucks sitting in the police station that cops owned which had illegal exhausts. the cop let him go. lol.

Well how much were the tails tinted?

It wasn't much, but my lawyer said that if i removed the exhaust and tails it would have been "good faith" to drop the rest so i went with it. eventually ill do them again. thanks guys!

I've been driving my 05 with no muffler now for 2 years and haven't got in trouble with it yet.

When I was doing my exhaust I had to drive to the muffler shop with nothing after the cat. Drove by a few cops and they never did anything.

Why tint the brake light? It matches the car and flows with the current design. If it was black, it would have a random black spot above the strip in the trunk. It would look rather out of place. Get some black tails and leave the brake light as it is.

go back to the tinted tails and cary a pair of stockers in the trunk for when you do get pulled over.... "oh, im sorry officer. i didn't know.... but i can swap them out right now"

Hey nice! I had the idea to do the trunk thing about a month or 2 ago, but I haven't yet. I was going to put in a photoshop request for it. So much for that though, yours looks great! Did you do it yourself? I have the black LED tails, with the reverse lights blacked out too, so I think it will look really good with satin black on the trunk. Have you ever thought about getting the LED tails? I like mine a lot. I even bought an SRT bumper just so I could get them.

Yea i did it myself, just taped it off while it was on the car, removed it and painted it with a rattle can. im thinking about tiniting my stock ones again to match.

Cool, I'll probably just paint mine myself then. I paid like $65 for my LED tails at the Carlisle show, so I got a pretty good deal on them.
