What website did you grab those off of? People always talk about not doing HIDs in stock headlights (I got the black housing with eyelids), but I am far from affording projectors + HIDs.

Looks great! And perfectly aligned. My headlights shine a bit uneven lol.

Did you get the 9007 bulb to fit in the stock headlight? I want to order these but don't know which one to get.

Something about how the stock headlights aren't meant to emit light from an HID kit... like the housing could melt or something, not entirely sure, but it made sense when I read it in another thread lol.

Putting HIDs in stock housings create an excessive amount of glare. The glare has always been there, but it becomes like 4x worse due to the brighter bulb. Projector housing focus this light and eliminate the glare that oncoming drivers would see. (its one of my pet peeves btw)

9007 is the correct size for a stock housing.

I can contest to the problem of being in front of a car with HIDS in stock housings, I even have a pic.

I couldn't see shit, even with my mirror flipped down, and me sitting as low as possible to avoid the reflections.

It sux wen ur at a light and trucks turn and go in the direction u came from. theyre dam headlights are right in your face. It makes it soo much worse wit HIDs. I will say that some stock headlights do have good control over the glare.

Plus, I heard stories of cops giving you tickets if the HIDs are in stock housings. And they are only legal in projector style headlamps.

So you'd also be saving your ass from a ticket. :)

AFAIK, HID's are only legal on cars that came equipped with them from the factory.

What kind of inspection? Emissions?

Most annual-type inspections are only concerned with the fact that a light is working, not what type it is. I live in CA, so my inspection happens every time I drive on public roads and a cop sees me ;)

I got flashed for the first time today and it's been about a month.

And, this pic proves that the 2nd gen headlight housings ARE much improved compared to 1gns.... I'll have to take a pic of my 95 with the 8k's, I think I have 5x more glare

Haha, yeah it got hit by the series of Tornado's that hit Union University in jackson, TN (around Memphis). I had it parked all by itself so i thought my car had the best chance of all the cars at school of surviving...instead some car from a nearby lot got thrown into it, and a pole decided to launch itself into the side. Other than that lol...

The worst part was being in the bathroom while the dorms got ripped apart lol.

Here's a pic from outside my old dorm lol

Just installed mine, but I only paid $60 some shipped (lowered price). I got the 6k HID kit and mine didn't come with as many wires as yours did, just the ballast + headlight plugs.

And for some reason, when I installed the Xenon turn signal bulbs that I bought from Modern Perf., my D/S Turn Signal doesn't blink (but will light) so I get that "ricer" blink.

The VVME kit is awesome though, very easy to install
