For those of you who do not know why on earth I would have so many uncut keys, these are the original 1995 release 1st gen Neon key blanks.

Yes, they do glow in the dark. I found a local dealer that had a few, and apparently they are getting rarer by the day in uncut condition, so I bought...well.... All of them.

I already have 6 spoken for, and I am keeping a pile just for old times sake. Just thought I'd show you guys (and gals) what a dork I am.

 :tardbang:

P.S - Who loves Ghostbusters??? :laughing3:

I got two uncut glow keys a few years ago for Christmas from my parents. I had one of them cut for my R/T that I had at the time, the other I've left uncut and have no intentions of selling.

My '95 came with one that cleaned up pretty well and glows like a champ.

BTW, the fact that they glow helps when you're drunk and drop them in a field.

They pop up on eBay every once in a while, that's where my mom bought mine. I'm thinking she paid less than $3 for my two uncut glow keys, but that's also been probably four years ago now.

Wow, I'm jealous- my '95 didn't have one like those (it was black) and the car was ordered in January and delivered in March of '94 so I know that it was one of the first ones built. :cussing:

They won't work in your car. Not a SKIM key.

My dad cut those keys for the Plymouth Acclaim we had when I got my license. I believe they had them in a few other colors as well. They didn't glow that well.

"Ray.... when somebody asks if you're a god, you say YES!!!"

The aftermarket needs to make glow-in-the-dark SKIM chipped blanks.

4773984 - MSRP $12.85

^Should be the correct part number for the "glowing" key, maybe a parts guy can verify? I'm not sure if you can still get them either.

Is the key the same size? You could just have it cut to your key and tape the SKIM key under the dash...I think...

That is the correct part number for the keys. There are only 32 left in the Mopar warehouses.

I just bought one on Thursday for my 2000. Took it to the local auto parts store to have it cut. The douchbag did this to it...
