Stick with the colour match trunk. But other wise car looks nice and clean except the pinstripe on the side

Just have it color-matched. If you go two-tone then you'll have to go the whole hood,roof,trunk combo. Good luck on the key-hole shaving.

Colormatched. I don't like two tones.

THAT is the best way. Bondo and fiberglass is just laziness.

do not bondo it, it will crack and it would be a wast of time. just have a body shop weld it for u and paint it. shouldnt be too expensive. and just get a black hood and be done. black hood and trunk FTW!!!

you need to weld in filler plates, then fill with a fiberglass impregnated filler, followed by high build primer surfacer.

Why not just fill the keyhole and paint the gray lid to match? It seems like you'll have more work to do on the stock lid, since you want to fill the spoiler holes as well. The gray one has 4/5 of the work already done.
02 base -> 05 SRT ACR -> 96 sedan -> 99 R/T coupe -> 02 R/T -> 03 SRT

You don’t have to weld anything if you don’t want to. There are plenty of good metal-metal adhesives out there.
