well tuesday was a bad day. some dudes decided to try and steal my car. i was at training for this job and we were let out on break, well i stayed inside and some coworkers went outside to get some fresh air. well some guys parked across from my car, one got out with a crowbar and smashed the window thinking no one was going to try and stop him. well he was wrong, my page alarm went off so i went outside and my coworkers were telling me what just had happened. they got the license plate so they are looking for them now but apparently they are the owners of a chop shop that recently got searched. paid 100 bucks which was for my intake so now i gotta wait till payday

God I hate seeing shit like this. THere have been a rash of break-ins in my jurisdiction over the past 2 weeks. We've been able to get the tags off two of the suspect vehicles and have subsequently made 2 arrests this week alone. Hopefully your police are able to help you out as well bud.

Did you have theft coverage? Hopefully everything will turn out in your favor. Good luck man!

Why can't cops around here be like you guys. We had 22 break ins in ONE night in a matter of a few blocks. The same people have been doing it for the past six months totaling over 40 cars broken into. They fail.

But damn that sucks, I feel your pain but at least its just the window and they didnt manage to grab anything.

It seems like this kinda thing is happening more and more often. My friend's family in a different neighborhood is afraid to leave their daughter home alone because of the rise in break-ins in their neighborhood.

:cussing: Time to kick some ass!!!

I was just thinking that there should be a car alarm, that when set-off, electrifies the exterior of the car in a beautiful bath of 10,000 volts. That would stop them in their tracks.

thanx everyone, the thing i was really mad about i did have my stereo stolen once but this time they smashed my window and really pissed me off. so after work i drove around looking for the vehicle for about 2 hours ready to kick some ass. but eventually gave up. these 100 bucks really set me back since barely make enough for bills and stuff so i was mad, no i dnt have theft coverage so after really thinking about im changing my insurance company so i get a better coverage

sucks to hear....but atleast they didnt get away with your car or anything at all.

CA is the worst of the worst when it comes to theft. Thinking of it now, I need to add more security mesures to my teg.

Did this occur in broad daylight or have I misunderstood? At any rate, sorry to read about people with no morals damaging your vehicle.

That would be a good idea either way! Stealth FTW!

If anyone ever broke into my car they'd be pissed. I keep absolutely nothing in it, aside from maybe 10 cds and a few personals in the console. No stereo, no junk in the back seat, nothing. I used to keep my 300+ cd case in the back seat but I decided it was worth too much and now I just rotate 10 or so cds at a time into a smaller cd case in the car just in case.
