I drove tractor/trailer around the country for a while. It is rare but not unheard of for the landing gear to fail and the trailer to take a nosedive.
Messing with the landing gear should get you into trouble with yard security... at the very least it would certainly cause the next drive to hookup with that trailer some grief given that the jaws on the fifth-wheel would be at a different height than the kingpin.

yep shure is, thats the benifit of extended mounts and shortened struts, no droop. i think the front need a stronger spring though so i can drop it more.
