My newest plans

So as many of you know, my car is pretty ugly at the moment. Well I've finally got my ass in gear and have come up with some simple, yet nice plans that I hope to have done before I go to Carlisle. I finally finished drawing them up in photoshop and even though I wanted to keep it on the low till I got it done, I just couldn't help it. Tell me what you guys think: (sorry can't remember who's ACTUAL car this is in the photo)

Image

-'02 bumper (IT'S HERE!)
-'02 grille with rim painted, crosshairs left black (in the mail)
-MB Mesh X 16's (saving up)
-Painted mirrors
-And a drop (saving up)

I have the 'actual color' thing in there because for some reason I just CAN'T get steel blue to work. What do you think?

I love the design. When will it be complete?

The bumper gets here tomorrow, the grille a few days after, paint is currently getting quoted, saving for the rims and tires, and hopefully can poop out the springs and struts before Carlisle.

I'm hoping to be pretty much set in a couple of weeks. Being unemployed doesn't really help out.

I really like your list so far JeffM. You got a good plan ahead of you.

I know this is obvious, but a lip kit would set it off nicely, and yeah...they're hard to find nowadays.

So you're getting the whole car repainted, or just the new parts to match?

Just the new parts. My dad said it would be my one and only birthday present this year so I can't complain. A free paint job is better than none.

Oh, that's a good deal man. I thought you were gonna have to pay for the paint job yourself....If you did, that would've sucked.

I would've said "Bring out the rollers!" lol

Honestly, I never really liked steel blue. When my car was steel blue, I always had a love / hate thing for it, and as more days pass by, the more I disliked it.

Yeah, I hated it for a while too. But something about it lately really makes me like it.

Lol on the 'rollers' comment
